Bought this adapter because I needed to connect my laptop to the internet in hotels using the Ethernet connection. As well as updating the firmware in some audio equipment.

Exactly what I needed!!! Our Wi-Fi is iffy depending on where I am located, and this allows me to plug the Ethernet cable in and go warp speed!!!

This is a great product. I have 1 GB download speed internet service, but I was getting all I was paying for by just using wifi. After using this to wire my internet connection, I gained about 300Mbps making my speed much faster and more reliable as well...less buffering.

I use this one to connect to network where wireless network is not available. It is very easy to use. Just plug into the Thunderbolt port and connect to the cat 5/6 cable. No configurations needed. This is a good product.

exactly as you would hope apple products work, you plug it in and it simply works. Most other mac ethernet adapters require drivers which leave you dead in the water when trying to connect an ethernet cable.

Purchased this for increased internet speeds over WiFi. Researched that the thuderbolt connect would be twice as fast as a USB connection. Works perfect!

I've had my MacBook Pro for almost 3 years and have never required an Ethernet adapter - until my desktop died and I needed to a direct connection to my router. Much like other Apple products, this worked as intended.

It does what it is designed to do. Easy plug and play. Just make sure you have a thunderbolt 2 port.

Since my daughter dorm room doesn't have wifi, this was the best option to context her MacBook to the internet. All other adapters required a program to be loaded on the computer. This adapter was just a plug and play. Great buy.

Easy to use on business trips when staying at hotels that still don't have a dedicated wifi feature in their rooms. Although I needed the capability, if I had the time, I would've ordered a similar off-brand item for a third of the price.

Easy to connect and now get high performance internet.

The only thing I could say negative is perhaps apple should design it so that it's a little bit smaller. It kind of protrudes from the side of your laptop. Other than that, I get great speed out of it and no issues.

A bit pricey but definitely worth the price for what you're getting in the thunderbolt. Third parties can be tricky

Get the cheaper no-brand one. This one works but it is too expensive.

This is a great dongle to have for your Macbook Pro. There are times when traveling that the hotel wifi is subpar. Being able to connect with ethernet is a lifesaver. Highly recommended for office environment.

Got it for my macbook pro and it was simple plug and play

Tested this last night for a Zoom dance my wife is calling tomorrow afternoon. Needed to plug her MacBook Air into the eero thingie for broadcasting.

Well made and it hooks directly to my MacBook Air without challenge and the to my Ethernet cable. Now I have 1000 mbps all the time without worrying about WiFi connect-ability and speed.

This is a great adapter, just what I needed to connector my Macbook Pro to my ethernet. Works great priced right.

I have been using the product for about a week and no complaints. It does a great job allowing me to hardwire into my modem via an ethernet cord.
