I needed the direct connection to my wifi for better picture quality for internet meetings. This adapter for my Mac is just what I needed.

Very fast and useful. I'm not 100% sure if this is a better value over any usb 3 to ethernet though.

My daughter is in college and the wifi can be slow. I bought this so you could hook up her laptop to the hard wire in her dorm. It works will so when alot of students are on line she has faster internet.

I use my Macbook Air primarily for work while travelling. Our offices do not have wifi making the thunderbolt accessory a necessity for me. It should really be included with the Macbook Air and not an accessory.

This works great on my MacBook Pro!!! Having no Ethernet plugin in the computer, this is the only way to get a hardwire connection. Very easy to use, plug it in and your set!!! Fast and stable connection!!!

So far, this is doing what it needs to do! It helps me be able to plug my Macbook Pro directly to my router to get the fastest speeds when downloading large files.

We appreciated this so much that as soon as someone accidentally broke mine we went to buy a replacement. That's the best example I can give for supporting this item!

Does what it says. Fits just right. Connection is secure. Does not become loose or drop connection. Fast connection.

I used this for work to reimage a bunch of MacBook Airs and this came very much in handy. I actually ordered a bunch for work so I can do things much faster.

This is a life saver when the WiFi at school is overloaded and slowing to a snails pace. Just plug into the wired ethernet and get faster response while everyone else is struggling with the slow WiFi.

Simple item. Works Great. Only problem is some MacBooks only have one thunderbolt port. Mine has two, but i use two external monitors... but this does work well for what it is supposed to do.

I thought of getting a different brand since when compared it is a little more pricey but if you are using a mac, definitely recommend its accessories. Plus it should last a long time

Bought this and then realized that I didn't need it since another computer in the home had Gigabit Ethernet port already. Functioned like it was supposed to and no complaints.

worked as advertised, was able to use my thunderbolt port to connect to the internet, freeing up my USB ports which is what other similar products use.
