If you need to connect to an ethernet connection this is your only option. Its never failed me but the cost is really high.

This is a must have for Mac Book Pro if you want Ethernet cable access in a location (like school or hotel room). Quick and easy, plug and play. Build quality seems to be good and connectors are easily accessible.

Perfect. It actually enhanced my connectivity and fixed my problem of needing to get my Ethernet connected. The outlet I had been using for that stopped working.

This works as advertised. Simply plug and play. Had been using a USB adapter but this frees up that port for other uses.

WiFi on 2012 11” MBA not dependable, solves problem.

My MacBook Air goes with me everywhere: home, travel, and from job to job. I've always relied on the built-in Wi-Fi or the wired network connector on my external Thunderbolt display, but my newest job has me working with the MacBook Air sans display and they have terrible Wi-Fi throughout the building. The solution? This little Thunderbolt gadget, which you plug in and never think about again. Gives me a great 10/100/1000Base-T connectivity and is small enough to throw into my computer bag.

Upgraded from the 100 speed unit and its extremely fast over ethernet. But then again, its an Apple product....

If you have a larger download, or just don't want to use less-than-secure wifi, this is a must have accessory for the Macbook Pro.
