I needed a thunderbolt to gigabit ethernet adapter because my MacBook pro only has the thunderbolt ports. I bought the TtGE from Best Buy and it has worked very well.

A welcome add on even though it still needs an adapter.

bought this open item, best buy shipped it fast as usual, works like a charm on my macbook pro retina that does not have a built in ethernet port. Would recommend this to others.

this is for the airbook and was expensive!... I had to have it for hardwire my airbook at work... enough said

I returned a generic adapter that I couldn't get to work with a macbook. Plugged this apple one in and it worked flawlessly from the start.

I can now use a gigabit ethernet connection on my Macbook Pro. Very satisfied with the performance, just wish Apple would make these adaptors more reasonably priced.

Bought this for the few times that I encounter situations without wireless Internet access. I have a MacBook Air with only two USB ports. This saves both of them for use with other devices.

Very simple to use. I just plugged it in and I had a working ethernet port on my 2013 Macbook Pro Retina 13". Definitely recommend if you want a hard line to your laptop.
