If you need ethernet on your Macbook Air, you only have a couple choices. Thunderbolt is probably going to be the fastest. If that is the case, then this is the only choice for you

The speed of internet access is extremely fast. It seems no difference when compared to wifi connection but the difference becomes obvious when we play online games.

I am a die hard apple fan. I am glad to have this because when I need to connect to the network to set up wireless it helps to be hard wired.

If you have a Mac with a thunderbolt connection and need an Ethernet connection, then there is no better solution than this cable. Just plug it in and you're set.

My daughter needed an Ethernet cable for her dorm and of course we needed an special adaptor for her mac! We always try to go with apple since they always Work!

Not much to say about this. If you need faster speeds than what you can get from wireless, this is exactly what you want. Great for bulk uploads and downloads from a NAS.

Sometimes these connectors wear at the connection points because they are flexed daily, and the conduit weakens. Not these connectors. Pretty solid.

Purchased this because I just got 1gbps internet. Plugged it in and it didn't work at first, so I restarted my modem and it started to work. Pushes out a good constant 940mbps connection. I'm happy. I only wish the adapter could spin 360 so when I move my laptop around

Works fine. Put a pies of tape where it goes into the computer to hold it better. Don't want it popping out while on the job.

Wireless is always unreliable ... if you are doing a big file transfer you want this accessory. Should come with every Mac!
