This adapter allows you to connect directly to a router and/or modem. Simple plug and play for all RJ45 connections needed to your MacBook Pro. The adapter is about 4" long and a very well made Apple product.

I bought USB internet adapter that said compatible with MAC, but it doesn't work and the driver that comes with it is for Windows NOT for MAC. A waste of money. If you need internet adapter for Macbook buy Apple Thunderbolt internet adapter it worths the money you spent and no headache because it's plug and play.

I needed to connect my older MacBook Pro directly into my internet router when I was having internet problems. There is no internet jack on the machine, so I needed this dongle which links into the Thunderbolt connection. It worked fine and will come in handy in the future.

Excellent way to connect your mac laptop to an Ethernet connector. Just be careful not to use all of your ports.

This adapter worked great. The only reason I needed it was to migrate my files from my Windows 10 PC to my new Mac Book Pro. It was less expensive to purchase this and transfer the files myself than to pay someone else to move them for me.

We used this product to connect from MacBook Pro Thunderbolt port to a VGA cable going to our projector. We played our movie to the projector. It played the video of the movie good. We played the audio out of the MacBook Pro audio out to our system. The video and audio worked good together this way.

You know what you're getting when you buy an official apple adapter. It does the job. It's a bit pricey, but the quality is top notch.
