And when you only have one way to hardline your laptop to the internet, these adapters by Apple are the way to go. I've tried off brands and they work but don't last. I'm had many issues with off brand products but never with these apple adapters. They are study, durable, and do the job easily.

Excellent, looks well made adapter for the mac air. They do not last forever. You are lucky if you get a year out of these if you put it in and take the adapter out regularly, but, apple does offer a year guarantee. Keep your receipt as they will replace it at apple.

This is a plug and play product. I was going to update my MacBook's OS using the WIFI connection. The download started and it estimated 1 to 2 days to complete. I put in this to connect to my ethernet cable. The download completed within 8 minutes.

Works great. No set up needed. Just plug and go. The only drawback is that it is required to hard wire the new Mac Laptops.

The internet speed improves clearly when I'm connected to the Internet via Ethernet and this adapter since there are 5 laptops/desktops and several mobile devices are online. If you have an option to use ethernet connection, I would recommend you to give it a try. I have a solid connection.

Works fine. I do wish they would make a Thunderbolt to ethernet cable so another adapter could be avoided.
