This is the only way to get the true speed of fiber internet.

I know there's been a trend toward going wireless, but sometimes a good old fashion wired connection works great and does it more securely. I wish Apple would include this with their MBP after they removed the port in the new models.

Awesome product. Along with the Thunderbolt 2 - Thunderbolt 3 adapter, I can obtain the fastest LAN speeds possible.

This adapter works as expected, it is just a little pricy.

This is the part I needed and performs technically the way I want, but is both too flexible and not flexible enough in that it seem to be strained but is also damaging my thunderbolt 2 port. I wish a right-angle version, or more compact model were available

Overall this is an excellent product providing needed wired network connectivity for the MacBook Pro. Only issue that I've found is that when running VMWare (with Windows 7 Pro) the MacBook Pro seems to have problems after removing the Gig adapter and switching back to wireless. Just takes a little bit of editing the Network settings, but not seamless.

Another company Might match the quality of this Apple adapter, but they won't beat it.

Pretty much plug and play. Did need to reboot twice to get the OS to recognize it at first but now it works as soon as you plug it in. Exactly what I wanted. No issues disconnecting or it unplugging so far.

MacBook Air computers do not have an Ethernet port. Purchased adaptor to be able to hard wire connection to computer if wifi went out. 1st time I connected with hard wire line, and it worked great. no issues.

Discovered last minute that my son's new Apple laptop did not provide a cable (which for the price it should) so I knew I could count on Best Buy to have one in stock even though it was an unexpected additional expense.

I would have given all stars but it was pricey. ha

The Ethernet Adaptor helped us troubleshoot our computer that wasn't working. Never heard of an ethernet adaptor before, until the Apple representative mentioned this to be helpful.

I purchased this to be able to hook up my Mac notebook to the wired router because my wireless router was getting flaky. Having this has allowed my son to take online courses despite the status of the wireless router.

Thx adaptor works fine for me. We use them all the time.
