Think twice before buying from a third party selle

Says "no connection detected" I even had our IT guy help to make sure it wasn't me doing something wrong and unfortunately they confirmed the cable wasn't working. Now I'm having issues returning it because Best Buy won't accept the return in store and online is no help either because it's from a third party seller
