Easy to use on business trips when staying at hotels that still don't have a dedicated wifi feature in their rooms. Although I needed the capability, if I had the time, I would've ordered a similar off-brand item for a third of the price.

I purchased this to be able to hook up my Mac notebook to the wired router because my wireless router was getting flaky. Having this has allowed my son to take online courses despite the status of the wireless router.

Purchased this for increased internet speeds over WiFi. Researched that the thuderbolt connect would be twice as fast as a USB connection. Works perfect!

The only thing I could say negative is perhaps apple should design it so that it's a little bit smaller. It kind of protrudes from the side of your laptop. Other than that, I get great speed out of it and no issues.

I'm paying way too much money for my my 26Mbps Wi-Fi from AT&T U-verse and only getting about 17Mbps. I bought this cable and now I'm at 22+. Definitely worth it.
Cons: need to have a long ethernet cable around my walls.

This is a great dongle to have for your Macbook Pro. There are times when traveling that the hotel wifi is subpar. Being able to connect with ethernet is a lifesaver. Highly recommended for office environment.

I may not always agree with the pricing of Apple products, but they match the aesthetic of the brand and they work well. I've used many third-party adapters and cables in the past, and their reliability is iffy.

Needed an Ethernet connection for my son's college and this is a great solution. A short adapter into the Thunderbolt port and plug the Ethernet cable into the adapter. Compact siz makes it great to carry around campus.

Well made and it hooks directly to my MacBook Air without challenge and the to my Ethernet cable. Now I have 1000 mbps all the time without worrying about WiFi connect-ability and speed.

A bit pricey but definitely worth the price for what you're getting in the thunderbolt. Third parties can be tricky

Our WiFi at work is nothing short of awful, so I was told to get something like this for my MacBook Air. Works perfectly and keeps my lonely USB port available. Also keeps my sanity in check!

This is not one of the things most people would use but I wanted a way to have access to a machine other than via the WiFi connection and this adaptor did the trick! No problems and it works like you would expect

Can't say anything negative about this. It works. I wanted to be able to use my ethernet cable to compare wireless speed with connected speed, and also to do some updates/installations with more stability.

I bought this to utilize with my 2012 13-inch MBP Retina, which allows faster networking than Wi-Fi. It helps to avoid Wi-Fi contention and is easy to use, a simple plug-and-play.
