    Handle little adapter

I purchased this little adapter so that I could sync my old Mac Book to my new Mac Book Air. Kinda pricey for what you get, but that is Apple for you. I'm not sure if it expedited the sync or not, but I now have this adapter if I ever need it again.

In my college dorm we don't have wifi so this is a must-have! It works perfectly and the internet connection is very smooth. I previously used one from another brand and Apple's is just significantly better. Highly recommended!

It does what it is designed for great. The only problem is that it ties up your thunderbolt port and ports on my 2013 MBA are in short supply. I ended up returning the product in lieu of purchasing a Thunderbolt display which has ethernet built in and extra Thunderbolt ports to daisy chain other peripherals. All in all I guess that is a great upsell from a $30 adapter to a $1000 display. Nice job Apple.

One problem with a Mac is it doesn't have the connection ports like a regular laptop. This adapter allows you to connect an Ethernet lead which I needed to set up a new modem and router plus to speed check the hardwire connection

My wife started working online and the company does not allow you to use wifi. But we realized the MacBook Air has no RJ-45 connection. But this adapter does the trick just perfectly to allow us to connect to a wired internet connection!

Works great to convert thunderbolt 2 to Gigabit Ethernet. I use it on my iMac to aggregate two Gigabit LAN ports for faster file transfers. This is thunderbolt 2 not 3.

Works great probably would have been ok getting some other brands knockoff as little as I use it. But I’m believe that Apple products have last longer with my abuse and this is still working so I’m happy

My daughter was in New York doing an internship and found out that the college where she was did not have wifi. We had to find a solution for her to use her computer, so we found this adaptor at Best Buy. It worked great!

I was glad to see that the thunderbold ethernet adapter was available to purchase. My MacBookPro doesn't have the regular port for the ethernet. This fits and work well.

I bought this to give me a faster connection to my internet at my office. This is really easy to use and to unplug daily as I take my laptop home. I just had to plug in my ethernet cable and then plug it into my Macbook Pro.

Not much to say other than this product works well and as advertised. You will use up one thunderbolt port. The adapter is of high quality construction and should last a very long time. Highly recommended.

It works fine, but its annoying that Apple makes us buy peripheries that should be included, especially given the price of their laptops. Apple's logo should depict taking a HUGE bite out of people's wallets rather than a small bite out of an apple,

I’ve used this before and I thought mine stopped working so I bought another one but it ended up just being my computer messing up and my thunderbolt ports don’t work anymore. But it works as expected.

    Good Adapter But...

In all honesty, I'd buy something else next time. It works and does it's job but the first time I used it, it seemed to get quite warm. It's just an adapter so I don't think that's exactly normal. After the first use though, it seemed to be just fine. It is a little pricey, but it is an Apple branded product so... it's to be expected.
