Will not work on newer Macs without 2nd adapter

However, the description for this adapter does not state that it is a Thunderbolt 2 adapter, meaning that it won't plug into newer Mac laptops and desktops that come with a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port. To use this adapter on a newer Mac, you will also need to purchase a $49 Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter.
