Perfect gadget for the next generation of tv streaming

Excellent addition to our LG C2 tv. Much better OS than lg’s built in. Apps load fast and never experience lag.

Overall this is a very good unit, I owned the first Generation Apple TV 4K so have something to compare it to. Its nice that its smaller and better fits under my TV. Opening apps is a bit quicker but I saw no change in ethernet internet speeds, which is expected as it was already more than needed. While most people loved the new remote I've had a bunch of issues with it disconnected that I never had in the first generation. I'm not sure if i got a defective one but the buttons just stop working every other week or so at random intervals. After talking with apple tech support they taught me how to reset it but the issue is not fully fixed. Also, the most recent software updates have significantly slowed it down, by what seems like half and much closer in speed to my gen 1 unit. IMO if you have a Gen 1 or Gen 2 and not using the newly supported Samsung HDR + their is not a significant reason to upgrade but that could change over time.

Been an AppleTV user for years, and I love the upgraded remote. I've bought two of these for different TVs in the house and they are great.
