This is a total upgrade compared to Roku it beats it in audio and video quality. It also doesn’t have any of the glitches like Roku has. One of my favorite things about this is under settings you can have apple box check your hdmi cable ,connection and tells you and just sets to optimum performance based on your cable! It has many other cool features to many to talk about lol. So yeas I am very happy with this product. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have a clear watch history option like Roku does. You k ow when you give show or movie a chance and realize this is horrible! Unfortunately it remains under continue watching section wish I could just clear history. Anyways other than that I have no complaints. I also like that it came with Apple Music free for three months I will keep it after the three months are up! Although the Apple TV not so sure I have only enjoyed one movie and One show the rest I could care less.

I didn't realize at first that only this version has Ethernet. the 64GB version is Wi-Fi only so this is worth it for Ethernet performance. I don't like relying on Wi-Fi for any of my streaming. Performance is great for all streaming service, Apple TV+, Netflix, Hulu, F1, Paramount+, and Disney+. This is the only device we use to stream with now and it's support for Dolby Vision makes for beautiful picture quality even streaming.

Have this to my son as a Christmas present and he was thrilled! He likes the user friendly and now the better user friendly streaming. Pictures quality is great too.

With 99.998% of televisions having their own smart operating systems, flush with consumable streaming content, the Apple TV seems like a frivolous pursuit. However, I wanted to try the fitness aspect of it on my TV downstairs and found that the Apple TV was fast, surprisingly intuitive, and all around great to use. Fast forward to 12-14 months later, and I have one on almost every tv in my house. It is that great. I've now purchased one for both of my adult kids and their families. It trumps every tv OS out there IMO. Side note, if you are already 400 feet deep into the Apple ecosphere, this is just one more thing you need. When the wife is busy with work, or still sleeping, I can slip on my Apple headphones and it automatically links to the tv, giving me full sound autonomy. I absolutely love it!!!

I wondered why people buy these, and looked online. This is smarter than your TV. It has all the apps you need for your streaming services, and for music like Sirius XM. Only thing I had a problem with is that the remote can be too sensitive. You try to click on something and it moves to another. Otherwise this is awesome for me, and it connects to my iPad Pro M5. Uses the 4k right for most of your streaming, and is very easy to use. Also this is an Apple product.

Love Apple TV. Makes any tv a smart tv. Fast processor. Great picture. Wasn’t setup and use.

My experience with this product speaks to a very specific use case. We have an LG OLED TV in our home. I absolutely hate the OS (Web OS) that LG uses on their TVs. I have had an Apple TV in the past and am pretty immersed in the Apple eco system. I purchased this as a way to bypass the need for my LG TV's on board operating system. This has proved to be absolutely seamless. If you're considering this same situation, I can assure you that this is a great way to go. It even replaces 99% of the need to use the proprietary remote for the TV you may have (LG's "smart" remote is also absolute garbage). The Apple remote will turn the TV on, and also a sound bar, if you have one connected. The Apple menus and apps have a bit of a learning curve to the navigation, but if you are familiar with Apple products in any way you will pick it up quickly. The picture quality is fantastic, and you can toggle whether it auto-adjusts to Dolby Vision (based on TV capability). It's also so fast loading apps and scrolling through menus. Where we would have to fight with our TV to load Netflix, which would take a few minutes to load, Apple TV loads it and we are watching our shows in seconds. One of the last, few elite products Apple still has in their lineup.

Love this product! Previously, we always cast from our phones to our tv, but now we don't even need to touch our phones - and it's a much better interface! Yay Apple TV!

I switched over from a NVIDIA Shield Pro and haven't had any issues with the device. Included remote is a bit harder to use than the NVIDIA, but 4k and Sound quality are similar if not better than the other product. If you don't want to wait for the eventual refresh, this is a good bargain.

Definitely worth the investment. Easy to setup and use. Picture and sound quality met my expectations. Love how it integrates my other apple products

The AppleTV is the best streaming device out there. From the amazing remote, to the powerful processor, it is about as user friendly as they come. I will never use anything else.

I have a smart Android TV from Sony, OLED Master Series, but the Internal RAM size of 4GB restricts the ability to install streaming apps to a specific count, and slows down the TV's performance when maneuvering. The Apple TV 4K not only resolves this problem but also improves picture quality, and in some scenarios, like YouTube, it enhances it by converting to Dolby Vision. It also acts as a gateway to control matter-based smart switches, etc, via Apple Home Kit; and since connected to TV via HDMI ARC, Apple TV remote controls everything (except you need to do TV internal settings which is almost very rare) If your TV suffers from internal memory size restrictions, I recommend it. For my TV, I set the Video setting to : Matched Frame Rate and Disabled Matched HDR. I enforce Dolby Vision at all times, and I see great performance compared to what some YouTubers recommend. I believe it could be TV-specific and not generalised.

Was using fire stick earlier, switched to apple and the improvement was very visible. The overall picture and sound clarity was improved. The interface is also better.

You need this to get the best out of your sound and video. You might not know this but this is THE BEST device for audio and video, especially if you have an AVR that can process 4K. It also syncs with your Apple verse so pictures, videos, movies and Apple Music is all there. No more streaming from your phone as the audio is uncompressed.

This has made streaming more amazing, my wife and I love ours.

I purchased the Apple TV because our TCL tv from 2019 has started to slow down. I deleted all of our streaming apps from the TV, and this Apple TV is so much faster than the onboard processor on the TV. Not only is it faster, but for some reason, all of our streaming services look so much better as well. I assumed native apps would yield a better picture, but I was wrong. I have found myself in the Apple eco system again, and this was a great addition. Using my iPhone and iPad as a remote is very useful when needing to type for some apps. Love it so far, and is a great upgrade.

This little thing has turned my dumb TV into a smart one! It does everything as advertised, and especially if you’re invested in the Apple ecosystem, this works great. At first I wasn’t sure what this thing did or why I would need one, but I realize now that it’s just a hub for everything that you watch. You can access all your streaming services and music, all natively on this unit. Makes the streaming easy and fast, and that’s what sets it apart from say a Chromecast, where you have to use another device to cast from. If you have a TV without built in apps, it’s a no brained. I think that even if your TV does have apps this would still make your life better just because of the ease and speed, and ability to use 1 remote, Siri, or your Apple devices to control everything is great too. Overall a great little media hub!
