Works great as expected. My family’s 3rd Apple TV. No need to upgrade if you have the previous version, I just needed an additional TV. The remote pros: amazing battery life, feels good in hand, easy to use. Cons: easily lost in between seat cushions, not backlit (I suspect to save battery, but I think it’s an annoying oversight given the price point and the fact it’s Apple with an unlimited R&D budget).

Wow. Had an older model and upgraded to new. This is the best streaming experience and everything just works.

Love it. Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, HDR+, FAST! Really a great way to consume content on my Sony Bravia.

Great addition to my HomeKit house. I would like more control over some homekit featurs within, but other than that I love the Apple TV. Easy to set up and use.

There are almost no differences compared to the previous generation. I purchased this for the newly added support for HDR10+ and the USB-C charging port on the remote.
