    Compatibility with dedicated speakers was removed on gen 4 wotg removal of IR. Current methodology for controlling audio sound bars such as bose is sporadic at best in terms of reloanke functionality. With that said i would take this any day over fire tv.

    I didn't love this new ATV. It seemed basically the same as the old one. I'm guessing it has many improvements, but I don't think I don't take advantage of the new features and storage. The remote is a ton better.

    Pairing to my iPhone didn’t work at first so I reset the Apple TV and it worked. I gave this to my mom since I already have a pc and she loves it since the streaming quality is HD on her TV.

    Current generation is the best yet for functionality. The interaction between the tv and the apple tv seems to be well sorted out for control of tv power on/off and volume. Wish you didnt have to create apple account to access apps via the app store.
