It's way better than the Roku I initially installed, basically I threw the Roku out for poor picture quality, but being a first time Apple TV user, there is still frustration I'm dealing with figuring this all out.

Out of the box, device, and a 1st Gen 4k were fine. After an update, both devices started losing connection, wifi or ethernet. Issue is when the device goes into sleep mode, it loses connection, and won't automatically pull addresses again. Best thing is use static IP addresses on both router and device side. This is easily the best 4k device with gigabit ethernet, wifi6e, and blazing speed. Came over from an Amazon Fire stick max, and while that's less than half the price, the incessant ads and inability to install apps like Spectrum don't make it worth it.
