I have an NVIDIA shield that I have been using for over a year. After using the Apple TV, I can honestly say that the Apple TV perform faster and for what I use it for it is much better.

This new version is more streamlined and relatively easy to use. My 2nd Apple TV for my home, I finally replaced my Samsung in-Tv app experience and I'm so happy I did.

Great TV Set Box

The less expensive version should be adequate for most. I love my Apple TV. The original model (which I have) still works great. This model is much faster.

Love love love! The Apple TV OS is super responsive and easy to use. Great gaming with Apple Arcade for 5 bucks a month!

I own a Sony OLED with android tv as the base. I saw no big performance or quality difference for my current set up. But i liked the Ethernet which takes a load off of wifi and for my primary device hogging the internet. I also bought it to future proof my smart home as it will support “Matter” tech and hopefully last a long time as far as tech is concerned.
