It’s ok, the remote is slippery to use. Having a mix of touch and clickable arrow keys causes wrong selection. Overall I decided to return the unit and opt for a Roku instead- which was also 1/4 th the cost

I love having a central place to pick up on shows I’ve been watching, and the integration with two dozen platforms is awesome. But by far the thing I’m enjoying most is having Thread support and using it as a HomeKit hub. All of my smart home devices have been a lot more reliable since adding the ATV.

I love the apple products but the salesman did not mention I needed an HDMI cord so arrived home and unable to use without going back out to a store.

The New Apple TV 4K is great and gives you more control then it’s predecessor. I bought the more expensive $149 model as I like having ethernet connections.

works great for apple tv+ or netflix. struggles with streaming live tv. my apple tv is hard wired to nighthawk router and i have gig internet. seems to buffer a lot.

This is an improvement over the earlier Apple TV remotes, in that you not only slide the select pad but you have dedicated left, right up and down arrows to control the movement. One warning it's a USB C connector to charge it NOT a lighting plug. This doesn't come with the remote.

This product consistently had issues decting the sound bar. Additionally, the HDR is completely broken, when HDR is active the device cannot display anything. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE IF YOU HAVE A DOLBY VISION TV

I got the Apple TV 4k because I own a lot of apple products. I was also getting frustrated with the lack of apps on my current smart tv. The Apple TV gives me all the apps i was looking for, and has similar OS to other apple products that I have. I would highly recommend!

Might be an OS issues but routinely have problems sharing content to my TV with my iPhone. Odd it doesn’t behave that way with the older model in the other room.

the unit keeps going blank (black picture on tv). have to keep restarting unit. have checked cable connections.

It’s just ok. I don’t see a difference in picture quality from my Roku or Nvidia shield. The audio is subpar.

I ordered an open box that was supposed to be in excellent condition. Came loose, scratched up in a brown box. It seems to work ok but definitely not in “excellent” condition. Might return and just buy a new one.

This is my 3rd Apple TV 4K, the issue that I have is with the remote control. The volume has to be reset multiple times since the first day I bought it.

Very hard to navigate the system. Many control functions are unavailable... even commonly used functions for playback and using guides.

Could not get this to work at all. Would not connect or do anything but turn on and show an Apple logo. Followed instructions to a tee. Seemed a pain but n the butt compared to a fire stick so we returned it and bought all fire tv products.

Best buy is slacking. I bought this open box-excellent. They sent me the device with someone else’s information still on it. I have to go through and delete all their log in information from each app and in the settings. Not cool.

It stopped working with my Vizio soundbar. Audio would occasionally stop. I had to change back to my Fire TV Cube which does not have this issue

I cannot get the “Soap Opera” effect off the new TV with the new Apple TV 3rd generation. The Geek Squad reprogrammed my surround sound (all equipment purchased previously from Best Buy) into the new Apple Remote. But my back speakers aren’t producing any sound anymore and I now have the Soap Opera effect on every show and movie I try to watch. Not good at all.

Glitchy controls. Hard to pause and continue programs. Really disappointed in the purchase.

If anyone out there has cable and still has a cable box/receiver get rid of that box and get Apple TV! The Apple TV user experience is outstanding and way better than the cable box. You will save money in the long run too.
