Garbage! I bought this for the ease of Apple integration after getting an IPad . I’m still kicking myself int the rear for no getting an Nvidia shield as I was advised to do. I despise passwords and the keyboard type field just will not work correctly. 100% the online reviewers are paid to review!

It is actually a good device.However, after 20 days of purchasing a new software update killed the device.Sound did not come and remote did not work.Best Buy did not replace or repair it.After a week Apple has replaced it

Definitely dont get your moneys worth with the apple tv

Completely useless. Apps didn’t work. Didn’t even include an hdmi. Also arrived full of dust outside the box and inside for some reason. Bought it new so i don’t see why that it would come dirty out the box. Complete waste of time.

Item was shipped 12/5/24 and I still have not received as of 12/21/24

Very disappointed. It won’t turn on and off. I know you have to hold the power button in for a little bit to turn it off but, it doesn’t work. It won’t turn on either, you have to unplug it and plug it back in, to enable it to turn on.

I have 2 of the 2nd gen units and they work fine This 3rd gen unit will not stay connected to the remote. (google it) It's common, and extremely frustrating.

The idea of an apple brand device was a no brainer, estability and performance are known factors, yet this device doesnt check those marks. Laggy, estability issues and crashing of apps have made the experience average.

Absolutely essential for a TV. This has a iPhone 13 chip in it. It is silky smooth and has no ads, and easily connects with your phone. The upscaling looks great for watching content. The remote is pretty. Way faster than relying on clunky built in OS on your TV

Worked for less than 2 months. Now no audio. Tried different HDMI cables with no luck.

This is the first Apple product I’ve bought that was “low quality”. The unit routinely locks up and has to be de-powered and reset. Apple, You’re better than this.

Returned the product and purchased one from a different manufacture which gave me Apple+ plus other streaming services for less money.

Bought just to get the HDR10+ feature for the Samsung TV it's being hooked up on. With no passthrough for HD audio it's still an inferior product to the Sheild and other streaming devices for local media.

I love the new Apple 4k tv. Coming from many years of using fire sticks, apples device is so much better. More powerful, better picture and sound if you are keen enough to even notice like me. If you are in the Apple ecosystem of devices you’ll feel right at home with the beautiful menus and icons. The smooth transitions and satisfying motion between icons. It’s the experience we come to expect from an Apple product. They just do it better. The remote, although similar to a firestick is more like a work of art. The remote provides input no matter where it’s pointed or what’s blocking the Apple tv and that is a great touch. You can connect a Bluetooth gaming controller to play games in the Apple Arcade, connect your AirPods for Spatial Audio listening or to not bother anyone else on the house. HDR10+, Dolby vision, Dolby atmos. Go upgrade your streaming device and get the Apple4ktv.

I bought one and it was defective in 2 weeks. Had it replaced and now the volume is unresponsive on the replacement within 2 weeks.

This is the worst Apple TV I have purchased. Loses connection to remote and will not connect to AirPod Pro 2 or Beats Fit Pro

Keeps breaking. very poor quality. Lost volume control again.

Really nothing special. And its only practical if you worship the apple ecosystem
