Excellent little device. I honestly underestimated how much better this was from my older ATV. I wanted to upgrade to 4k since I had fairly recently gotten a 4k tv and the google os on was garbage. This didn't disappoint. the interface is so smooth and easy to use. The sound passes through to my receiver correctly, unlike my tv and I actually get Dolby Surround now. The sound comes out loud and clear with no muffled dialogue. As I said super impressed. You can't go wrong with this device.

The Apple TV is just as great as I expected it to be. We recently bought a new LG tv and were extremely disappointed with the factory operating system, slow and littered with ads, plus always pestering you for updates and subsequently logging you out and forgetting your info. Ive used Roku for many years now but I wanted to upgrade to Apples version of a streaming device this go around. Needless to say it's great. If you're in the apple eco-system setup takes less than 5 minutes, just plug it in, get your iPhone close, and setup instantly. Dolby Video and sound quality is fabulous. App layout and navigation is so simple and fluid. Everything is extremely speedy thanks to the beefy chip powering this thing, no lagging or stuttering. The remote is also perfect, slim and elegant with just the right amount of buttons to accomplish everything you need to and nothing you don't. Navigation via the touch and swipe control feels very intuitive and precise. The integrated Siri capabilities make searching across all streaming apps seamless and pleasant. Airplay and syncing with iPhone apps also makes it very convenient for sharing music, photos, videos etc. Have nothing to complain about so far. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Bought this to replace my Roku in order to play 4K remuxs via the Infuse Pro app. Absolutely worth it! I also had a Shield and this just looks so much better.
If you want a device that works to serve up media files this is a really good option for a set it and forget it. This is primarily used to stream and it works.

Apple TV 4K is hands down the best streaming device on the market. The picture quality is stunning, with crisp 4K HDR and Dolby Vision that make every scene come to life. The A15 Bionic chip ensures lightning-fast performance, whether you’re streaming, gaming, or navigating the sleek tvOS interface.
Siri integration makes searching effortless, and the Apple ecosystem support—like AirPlay, HomeKit, and Apple Arcade—adds incredible convenience. The redesigned Siri Remote is a joy to use, with precise controls and a premium feel.
If you want a seamless, high-quality streaming experience with top-tier performance and deep Apple ecosystem integration, Apple TV 4K is unbeatable. Worth every penny!

I'm not a iPhone user or an Apple simp, but I will say this is honestly the best streaming device I've owned. It's premium quality, doesn't have ads, doesn't have crap all over the interface and the UI is smooth and fast.
I've owned Roku, Firestick, Google Home and another (forgot the name) - the Apple is by far the best.

Love the Apple TV 4K. Spent years with the Firestick. While nice, you could instantly see the difference in speed, user interface, smoothness and storage. If you’re an Apple user, this is a seamless transition. And Apple TV plus has some great programming. Apple fitness, Apple Music. All integrated and simple to use and navigate. Third party apps work flawlessly as well. I was on the fence for a couple of years and finally took the plunge. Now I want another for our second tv.

This is replacing an older model. Works as expected, easier to install and connect to wifi. The remote is so much better in this iteration. The hardware is fast and apps run smooth.

Better than I expected honestly. Originally bought to disconnect my S90C from WiFi to avoid firmware updates, while still being able to have streaming apps, I accidentally started a complete smart home/apartment with this as the first step. Now I have a complete lighting and security system with leak sensors, smoke alarms, cameras, contact sensors with the Apple TV as my hub. Certainly enjoyed going down that rabbit hole.
The Apple TV 4K has made my audio on my surround sound so much better. No more whisper dialog followed by blasting your face off from an action sequence. Hdr10+ support in provided apps was a HUGE deal for me as I didn’t get a tv with Dolby vision. This powerful little box gave my TV that extra little push to make the picture really amazing. I find myself saying “dang that looks good”
The remote is great. So efficient and the side button Finally showed me that I actually enjoy using Siri. The simple organization of the apps in the home menu and how it all works together has uncomplicated everything I didn’t realize was complicated before.
If you’re in the fence, try it out. I doubt you’ll be disappointed

To be honest, the Apple TV 4K (3rd gen) is really awesome. The picture quality is one of a kind, as it is crazy clear, the colors pop like you wouldn’t believe, and everything loads fast thanks to that A15 chip. It just makes watching stuff feel smoother and nicer. Plus, it plays perfectly with all my Apple devices. If you want easy, sharp, and colorful streaming, this little box is totally worth it.

Its simple really, once you try the apple TV, you'll never go back to another streaming deivice, ive tried them all and the apple TV blows all of them away. Lightning fast (can be Ethernet hard wired for even better connection), easy to navigate and the remote is excellent. Picture and sound quality is spectacular. Spend the extra $20 and get the 128 gb version, will never have to worry about memory. This is a must buy

Using the Apple TV has been a breath of fresh air. After years of relying on my smart TV’s built-in software, switching to Apple TV felt like stepping into a completely new experience. The interface is fast, smooth, and free of any lag or sluggishness. I also appreciate that there are no intrusive ads cluttering the home screen. Another great feature is the ability to connect my AirPods and watch shows privately through my headphones. Streaming quality even seems to have improved—though I can’t say for sure if that’s just my perception. I’m honestly not sure why I waited so long to get one. If you’re considering it, I highly recommend making the purchase.

We've been TiVo for twenty years and xFinity has caused us many problems. Over xmas we got Apple 4K TV to test an alternative system.
Day 1 out of the box it is simply awesome. Picture quality and sound field depth with our cinema setup is awesome.
It is modern. A cool design. Small form factor. EASY to figure out and is lightening fast. Now we have have to decide if we can live offnoff of the xFinity app on Apple.
Best product I bought in 2025

Great device! Glad I made this purchase. The device is fast, eliminating the lag I was seeing with my older Apple TV box. Great picture and easy to setup and use. Also, the remote is another improvement to the package.

The Apple TV 4K delivers a premium streaming experience with stunning picture quality, Dolby Vision and Atmos support, and a smooth, fast interface. The Siri Remote is sleek and responsive, and integration with other Apple devices is seamless. While it’s pricier than competitors like Roku or Fire TV, it’s perfect for those deep in the Apple ecosystem who value performance and build quality.

So you have a Smart TV and think you don't need the Apple 4K? Well, you don't know what you are missing.
Do you already have a streaming device, so you don't need the Apple 4K? Again, you don't know what you are missing.
This comes in two flavors: the WiFi-only version, which has 64 Gig of memory, and the Ethernet version, which has 128 Gig of memory.
Go with the latter even if you only use it on WIFI because of the extra memory.
First, I almost didn't buy it because I have Smart TVs, and they work. I didn't realize how badly they worked.
I bought the ethernet version with 128 GIG of memory because I could connect it to my network via ethernet, and it would keep another device off of my WIFI. Plus, it had the added bonus of having twice the memory.
This thing was easy to set up. I connected it to my HDMI2 on my TV (my soundbar was connected to my eARC).
I downloaded the APP, and since the Apple 4K was on my ethernet, they synced immediately. If you are an Apple user, the screen will look much like your phone, and rearranging the apps is the same as on the iPhone.
All of my streaming services were logged into my phone, so all I had to do was hold my iPhone close to the Apple 4K, and I was logged in with all the passwords.
I then downloaded all of the missing apps, which loaded almost immediately. I could download the SpeedTest app and was getting around 975 up/down.
I never got your running low on memory like so many of my TVs and other streamers.
I can't say what impressed me the most. The picture was better, and the sound was better than on the native apps from the TV or my Fire Cube.
The most significant difference I saw was load times. Netflix, Disney+, Amazon, and Paramount + all opened almost instantly. If I rewind or fast forward, it is faster than changing a channel on cable TV. No spinning circle, no delay, instantly goes to the scene.
If you miss something while watching a movie or show, you can press the mic on the side of the remote and say, "What did they say?" It will rewind about 30 seconds and turn on captions. After the scene has passed, it will turn the captions off.
I liked this so much I bought two more for my other TVs.
I've tried them all, and regardless of the price difference, the Apple 4K is the winner, hands down.
By the way, the other two I purchased synced with the original one I set up. Everything was in the exact order as the original and each of them set up in around two minutes.
