I bought them for running PLEX and I'm happy largely due to them having the ability to play content in Dolby Vision which some of my android based systems couldn't do. I don't like that Apple restricts movie and rental purchases from streaming services other than their own.

The connection once gotten is very stable.. Device does not get hot. My first apple streaming device.. This has a nice interface.
