I am a part of the Apple ecosystem, so everything blends in well. I upgraded from the first Apple TV 4K with Dolby Digital. Looking back on it, I would not do it again. The upgrade is barely noticeable. The remote was very non-responsive at first and would lose it connections. Seems like lately the remote is working well. It’s a nice upgrade but not worth it alone. I like the extra storage, but otherwise I see no difference in improvement from my old version. I would definitely recommend upgrading if your Apple TV is older than one that has Dolby Digital in it. Otherwise, wait for at least the next model before upgrading.

Awesome Little Box

They have corrected it with this model and it works flawlessly. The upscaling is awesome and the user interface is great. The remote is the huge difference here and I am glad Apple moved away from the swipe pad. It feels very study and USB-C is a plus.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.still a great product, got the model with wired network in addition to wifi, apparently they're moving to totally wireless in the future? still have mixed feelings regarding the mini touchpad on the controller, but it's a lot less likely to get accidentally hit than the earlier model with the big touchpad.
