It does exactly what you need it to do. It’s a streaming device with the Apple UI. Really great product for people who already like Apple and their ecosystem.

The only thing I would mention is that the new remote has a bit of a learning curve compared to the “old” design.

It is a shame you have to buy this more expensive version in order to get an Ethernet connection.

Great features and exceptionally clear streaming in 4K. My only small complaint is that I wanted to buy a second remote to have one sitting at both end of a large family room but I’ve learned that you can’t have two Apple remote’s connected to Apple TV at the same time. Otherwise, I like it very much.

I don't use any other Apple products. Don't forget to get a good quality HDMI cable (48gbps aka 8k) if you want all the benefits like Dolby Atmos, Dolby vision, etc.
