My friend has the same unit and the sound out of her sound system is so far superior to mine, and I have a decent Samsung 7.1 surround. So I just decided to splurge and get this unit instead of using the built-in Google TV on my TCL Q7 And the sound did not disappoint. Even though they are both supposed to be Dolby Atmos ™, it sounds so much better coming out of the Apple. It only gets four stars, because the remote is really annoying. I turned off the touchpad tracking and didn't even know until I asked my friend about it that you could. Also when I power something on and off I wanted to turn on and off I don't want to have to click multiple times because the remote even with the tracking turned off, so sensitive I frequently click the navigation ring and hit something I don't want to. You may say I'm uncoordinated, and I'd agree with you. But I can't be the only one

It's hard to go back to Roku and other options because of how great the experience is, especially if you're in the Apple Ecosystem. Having Airpods, Photos, Music, Game Saves, Podcasts, Homekit Cameras/Notifications/Scenes and much more sync seamlessly is amazing. The screensavers on this thing are absolutely stunning and I love having them on with music in the BG to set the mood for gatherings and such. This Apple TV has the new A15 chip which is amazing for gaming with Apple Arcade and other games, what's great is the saves sync on a Per-Profile Basis so my wife, son and myself can all have our own saves for the games we have on there. These performance gains also translate to better general use, I find that I can have much more apps running in the background, making switching between way faster, and the apps also perform better than any other box I've used. For those TV quality enthusiasts, you can also color calibrate your display using your iPhone and interfacing with the Apple TV, this would normally cost a lot and take lots of time and special equipment.

I bought this to upgrade my 2017 Apple TV. It’s faster, has FaceTime that works with iPhone. It’s great because it just works and I don’t have to think about it.

I like this lots better than the Android/Google side of my TV. Lag and glitches are gone and runs smooth and flawless so far.

Rock solid entertainment. I have an Apple TV on every television in the house an apple’s infrastructure remains top tier! Each new generation of this product potentiates my tv’s amazing viewing/gaming interface experience. Tech just gets better as we go.

This thing doesn't need introduction. It's at least one of the top 3 best streamers, if not the best. Most importantly for me, it can match dynamic range and framerate, has excellent upscaling with no extra image processing, you can make a shortcut to dim the screen when pressing the back button three times, control the volume and power of your tv and any othet IR controlled device (like an audio amp), and best of all: NO ADS in the UI, something that's ULTRA RARE but should be standard. One flaw (if you care): all audio is outputed at 48kHz, which is perfect for movies and shows but not good for streaming music because music is typically in 44.1kHz and gets resampled, a sloppy process that most people can't hear but audiophiles like me can.

This is the Apple TV I was waiting for. Fast A15 processor that loads apps quickly and is also powerful enough to smoothly run games from the App Store. The remote is rechargeable through its USB-C port so you won’t have worry about buying batteries. It has built in Bluetooth so you can connect wireless headsets, speakers, and controllers for PS5 or XBox to it. Apple TV 4K also supports Spatial Audio, so if you have HomePods, AirPod Pro, or AirPods Max, you can take advantage of this feature.

I got the apple tv 4k 128gb version and it's amazing. The main screen isn't laggy like most smart tv's and, actually watching each streaming service is great. The videos play with amazing quality and quick especially with YouTube videos and movies on Disney plus. Also if you're tv allows it you can enable dolby vision. Which improves your viewing experience. Literally everything works great and The apple interface is easy to understand. You can also change what the tv button on the remote does. By default if you press it once it does to Apple TV but you can change it to go to the home screen with one press. The increase in price compared to the 64gb version is worth it because you get a Ethernet slot to direct connect to your wifi which is amazing to have. Connecting over wifi is good as well just and I honestly didn't get any buffering from that option but, direct connect is usually always better. All in all definitely worth the price if you have it to spend it's significantly better than any smart tv on the market when it comes to enjoying your streaming videos.

The device I ordered, the 128GB Apple TV 4K is hands down the best TV box you can actually get. This would be a perfect investment for the long term if your TV is currently laggy or slow because the hardware in this tiny box is equal in power to the iPhone 14, this basically means that you will NEVER face any lag or slowdowns on this TV box for atleast the next three years. I love how BestBuy includes free subscriptions for this purchase such as Apple TV, Apple fitness+, and more. However I would wait before buying this product because a new Apple TV is right around the corner. Using this device is super simple and smooth, from the animations and the fact the center circle of the remote is literally a trackpad allowing you to scroll kinda like on the old iPods back in the days. 10/10 product.

I could not believe how much this improved the quality of our TV. Instead of getting a new tv, just get this. Game changer. I also love how compatible it is with using your iPhone or Apple Watch as a remote. Best purchase so far. You can even pair your AirPods to listen, it’s fantastic.

Excellent device for streaming. The clarity in the picture is mind-blowing! It’s so seamless and fast when switching in between apps. It also works really well with the Apple ecosystem by being able to connect my other Apple devices to it. Better than any other streaming device or box I’ve ever used before. I’m absolutely satisfied with my purchase!

We got off our package that brought TV into our home. The bill slowly crept up to $400 per month. That was not sustainable! We bought reliable and affordable internet, Apple TV, YouTube TV and some apps for about 30% of what we were paying. Could not have done that without Apple TV that pulls everything together. We should have done it sooner but are happy now. AppleTV has competition but in our diligence learned this is the best. We agree because the picture quality is excellent, it’s easy to use and responds- no lagging.

Bought this for my BF for Christmas and we are in love with this device. Super efficient and accessible to stream all the shows we love, with no lagging and amazing quality. If your looking for a device to buy, its this one over Roku, 100%. Only recommendation is to buy a wall mount that includes an HDMI cable on amazon, as this device does not include an HDMI cord. Absolutely love the Apple TV 4K device. Been using it for months now to watch shows and play videos from our iPhones. We used to watch videos using our gaming consoles, but the Apple TV box is much faster and easier to use for this purpose. It also works as a HomeKit hub, so we can control smart plugs and bulbs from the control center on our phones. Latest update added some nice features as well.

The Apple TV is nothing short of incredible. I went to best buy yesterday in person to get it. I was glad that they still had it in stock! I was so happy. I got the 128 GB storage option because 64 isn’t a lot of storage for anything anymore, at least not for me. I might download some games and play them with a controller so it will take up space so i got the higher storage option to be safe. Ethernet also comes with the 128 GB storage option. I have to do more research on it, because I’m still not quite sure what that is. The apple tv also works well with all my apple products, seamless connectivity!
