Best buy is slacking. I bought this open box-excellent. They sent me the device with someone else’s information still on it. I have to go through and delete all their log in information from each app and in the settings. Not cool.

It stopped working with my Vizio soundbar. Audio would occasionally stop. I had to change back to my Fire TV Cube which does not have this issue

I cannot get the “Soap Opera” effect off the new TV with the new Apple TV 3rd generation. The Geek Squad reprogrammed my surround sound (all equipment purchased previously from Best Buy) into the new Apple Remote. But my back speakers aren’t producing any sound anymore and I now have the Soap Opera effect on every show and movie I try to watch. Not good at all.

Glitchy controls. Hard to pause and continue programs. Really disappointed in the purchase.

If anyone out there has cable and still has a cable box/receiver get rid of that box and get Apple TV! The Apple TV user experience is outstanding and way better than the cable box. You will save money in the long run too.

Our Apple TV from several years ago is much better than this newer version. This newer version disconnects all the time as us quite annoying.

Have a previous version of Apple TV as well and this is a superior product. The most noticeable difference is the depth and buttons on the remote. Great design change for an easier hold and more intuitive navigation.

Love Apple TV. We have one for each room and they provide tremendous functionality for us. Surprised they don’t provide an HDMI, but they don’t! Be sure to use a 4 or 8k cable to maximize your image quality.

I love the minimalist remote, but it only lasted about 8 months.

Coming from Google TV and Shield TV i thought id finally give in to the Apple eco system so i made this purchase, everything looked great until i realized that Apple TV does not support internal volume control like many other streaming devices do so this will be returned its a shame because i probably would have kept it if it did. Come in Apple this is a basic feature that should have been implemented on Gen 1 Apple TV.

Although the apple tv is good, it is not good to buy refurbished, they do not guarantee the quality of the product

At first I didn’t see the reason in getting this because now a days all tvs come with all the apps but man I was wrong. It works so smooth, and I feel like the apps stream better as well.

Unless you have an Apple device it's impossible to setup, or a big enough pain to return the item

Title says it all. What's the point of having HDMI2.1 when the refresh rate is limited to 60hz.

Inconsistent. Some times on and not. Remote needs charger cord connected to function. No instructions to follow.

As always apple products sync with other apple products whick makes ot soeasy to use. Im planning to buy another one in yje next couple of months for the other rooms in the house.
