Only problem I had was apple account. I didn't have and to many issues to get all options from device

After several months the device would randomly shut down while actively streaming on any app. I would have music on while working and then it's gone. Watching a movie? It has built-in pee breaks. Apple replaced it under warranty for me but it wasn't even 24 hours before the replacement was doing the same thing. The only reason I haven't found another device is that I also use this as my apple Home hub.

I like a lot of Apple Products, but for some reason the Apple TV doesn’t get enough attention from the company. Not enough updates (both to device and firmware/software), and its streaming performance is awful. Tons of lag, poor picture qaulity, and trying to cast anything from an iPhone/iPad is pointless. Just lags, stops, etc. Compared it to the newest Roku Ultra, snd there is no comparison when it comes to streaming quality and sound. The new rechargeable abd backlit remote from Roku kills the Apple remote. Right noe, you can get the Roku Ultra for HALF of what thr Apple TV 4K costs. With that you get a newly updated processor, Wifi 6, and more. You can also watch your Apple TV content via rje Roku app. Save your money, and look elsewhere.

Ok interface and quality but movie and shows on Apple TV+ are a bit lacking.

Over all, it works well but the remote still stinks. Why can't Apple design a proper remote?
