Works great for stream NetFlix, Hulu etc. I also used it to Stream the Xfinity Stream Service. It worked faster than Roku, but still not as good as using the Xfinity Top Box. I found the Top Box much faster and much more user friendly. If you must cut expenses you can spend $150 for this and eliminate the $10 top box fee Xfinity charges. It will tak 15 months to break even. Use could use a Roku stick for $29, but it is slow compared to the Apple device. Still I have already bought the Apple and Roku I am keeping them and putting them on TV’s I don’t use much.

As an apple user. The ease of use never disappoint. Picture are crisp and vibrant. Sound was great! I originally bought an open box item, had issue and had to return it. I ended up buying a brandnew one.

This streams just like the smart tv but produces way better sound with content that has surround sound when you use the Apple TV box.

Double the storage at a reduced price hooked me in. Interface is zippy and PQ is excellent, though I feel the 4K upscaling isn’t as sharp as the A2169. Gigabit ethernet port is a plus, especially since no Smart TVs support above 10/100. HDR10+ is a treat to have for my Samsung S95B. My complaints are minor - build quality isn’t as robust as Gen2 and if you already have the Gen2, there’s not much sense in getting this one, unless you absolutely need the 128GB.

Great updated version. A15 chip, 4K. Pairs well with a couple of HomePods for a simulated surround sound system for apartments or smaller spaces.

Best build and quality. Best part is it upgrade quality of normal video to 4k. Very easy to use and remote is pretty solid look and circular button reminds me of Ipod.

Pretty spendy especially the wired one but definitely Better than roku

I am an experienced Apple TV user and believe that it is the best streaming device on the market with a fairly competitive library of apps. I owned two Apple TV 4Ks of the previous generation. Overall, the jump to the new generation isn’t terribly noticeable. The device does seem faster if you are a heavy user constantly switching between apps. As a person who watches a lot of sports via streaming, it is always a plus to have a device that can appropriately handle switching between apps. The one thing keeping this from a 5 star review is the remote. The remote design is an improvement from the previous generation because the previous remote tended to be vulnerable to accidental movements or button presses. However, the battery life on the new remote is horrible. Although I use the device to watch sports, I do not use the Apple TV frequently otherwise. I still have to charge my remote once every ten days. This was not the case with the previous generation’s remote that seemed to last for several months. Not sure why Apple took a step back in this area, as it is an otherwise very impressive device.

Screen is crisp and seems more faster with navigating menu! Has no ads on home screens! But i really only bought it for upcoming f1 season

Great laptop for writing stories and editing videos.

This streams in 4k and has all of the convenience of an apple device. I use it for movies, music, games the works. I highly reccomend plus it can help run your home with Apple HomeKit.

App is fast compared to previous version, remote is very sensitive, it takes a while to control and get used. The device automatically detects and connects for receiver audio volume , projector and on off, volume up down function which is great. Picture quality is great on 4k streaming. Little pricey conpared to fire tv but it’s worth. YouTube works which is great unlike it’s blocked out n older device which I have and need to use airplay. Comes with free Apple TV try out and Apple Music which is great for 4 months worth 50 USD.
