To be honest, the Apple TV 4K (3rd gen) is really awesome. The picture quality is one of a kind, as it is crazy clear, the colors pop like you wouldn’t believe, and everything loads fast thanks to that A15 chip. It just makes watching stuff feel smoother and nicer. Plus, it plays perfectly with all my Apple devices. If you want easy, sharp, and colorful streaming, this little box is totally worth it.

We've been TiVo for twenty years and xFinity has caused us many problems. Over xmas we got Apple 4K TV to test an alternative system. Day 1 out of the box it is simply awesome. Picture quality and sound field depth with our cinema setup is awesome. It is modern. A cool design. Small form factor. EASY to figure out and is lightening fast. Now we have have to decide if we can live offnoff of the xFinity app on Apple. Best product I bought in 2025

Great device! Glad I made this purchase. The device is fast, eliminating the lag I was seeing with my older Apple TV box. Great picture and easy to setup and use. Also, the remote is another improvement to the package.

So you have a Smart TV and think you don't need the Apple 4K? Well, you don't know what you are missing. Do you already have a streaming device, so you don't need the Apple 4K? Again, you don't know what you are missing. This comes in two flavors: the WiFi-only version, which has 64 Gig of memory, and the Ethernet version, which has 128 Gig of memory. Go with the latter even if you only use it on WIFI because of the extra memory. First, I almost didn't buy it because I have Smart TVs, and they work. I didn't realize how badly they worked. I bought the ethernet version with 128 GIG of memory because I could connect it to my network via ethernet, and it would keep another device off of my WIFI. Plus, it had the added bonus of having twice the memory. This thing was easy to set up. I connected it to my HDMI2 on my TV (my soundbar was connected to my eARC). I downloaded the APP, and since the Apple 4K was on my ethernet, they synced immediately. If you are an Apple user, the screen will look much like your phone, and rearranging the apps is the same as on the iPhone. All of my streaming services were logged into my phone, so all I had to do was hold my iPhone close to the Apple 4K, and I was logged in with all the passwords. I then downloaded all of the missing apps, which loaded almost immediately. I could download the SpeedTest app and was getting around 975 up/down. I never got your running low on memory like so many of my TVs and other streamers. I can't say what impressed me the most. The picture was better, and the sound was better than on the native apps from the TV or my Fire Cube. The most significant difference I saw was load times. Netflix, Disney+, Amazon, and Paramount + all opened almost instantly. If I rewind or fast forward, it is faster than changing a channel on cable TV. No spinning circle, no delay, instantly goes to the scene. If you miss something while watching a movie or show, you can press the mic on the side of the remote and say, "What did they say?" It will rewind about 30 seconds and turn on captions. After the scene has passed, it will turn the captions off. I liked this so much I bought two more for my other TVs. I've tried them all, and regardless of the price difference, the Apple 4K is the winner, hands down. By the way, the other two I purchased synced with the original one I set up. Everything was in the exact order as the original and each of them set up in around two minutes.

Upgraded from Roku 4k stick. So much faster, better picture, and higher quality audio. Love being able to control it from my phone. The Roku used to drop connection with my HDMI ARC sound bar, which then required everything to be unplugged to reset. Haven’t had any issues with the Apple TV. I know there are rumors about a new Apple TV but for my use case this is perfect.

I recently bought the Apple TV 4K from Best Buy, and I can honestly say it’s the best streaming device I’ve ever owned. The picture quality is absolutely stunning — the colors are so vibrant and the detail is crystal clear, especially with 4K and Dolby Vision. Dolby Atmos makes the sound feel like I’m sitting in a movie theater, and the whole setup is super easy to use. The menus are smooth and fast with no lag, and Siri voice control makes finding shows or opening apps a breeze. I also love how perfectly it works with my iPhone and other Apple devices — AirPlay is instant, and even Apple Arcade games look amazing on my TV. The remote is a huge upgrade from the old version and feels great to use. If you want a streaming device that’s fast, reliable, and delivers the best picture and sound quality out there, this is the one to get.

Bought to upgrade my current TV's interface and wow, what an improvement - everything is now super smooth and snappy. Other key features that I've really enjoy include: integration with your iPhone to be able to be used as a remote, seamlessly mirror your iPhone screen to the TV, and overall improvement with picture quality and user experience.

Overall happy I bought the device and use it several evenings a week. Some of the available programming specific to Apple make it worth the money to me. It's not inexpensive, but if you know what you're getting, it's worth it. The quality seems top notch overall. My only issues (and this is a pretty common based on the many reviews I've read) are with the remote. In addition to Apple-specific programming, I use the device in conjunction with my cable provider to avoid switching back and forth between boxes. The remote doesn't allow me to simply jump from station to station, though it does offer a user-friendly guide. For example, if I want to go from a local station, numerically typically in the single digits, to a digital station in the hundreds, I have to go through the guide and scroll, scroll, scroll, and I have yet to figure out how to toggle two stations back and forth without the using the same scrolling protocol. This is admittedly a "first world problem", but I mention it to set expectations. The option is of course to just switch back to the cable box when not viewing Apple specific programming. It may well be that Apple views the whole thing as, "That's not how we intend you to use the device,", which I can't argue with. But if you're among the last 27 of us out there who still have cable (I know, I know) it may be worth noting. The thing I just loathe about the dang remote is the Siri button on the side. I don't use it, don't want to use it, but somehow can't avoid it popping up every time I grab it. I don't want a remote that requires surgeon's hands to use. It is very, very sensitive to touch and being on the side nearly guarantees it'll be activated more often than not by simply picking it up. This informs my Ease of Use rating.

Actually the A/V receiver is key. The Apple TV 4K is an amazing upgrade to previous versions. I run quite a few apps through my Apple TV 4K, including a sound app and various television apps. The Music is set up well and is intuitive. AirPlay from my iPad and iPhone is seamless. Picture quality is impressive, and is only limited by my cable company. The Dolby Vision provides a great improvement prom previous versions. It integrates well with my Marantz A/V receiver. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. This is NOT an Apple issue, but if you use Hulu, it just does not work, although you can either [1] run the Hulu app from another device and AirPlay it to the Apple TV 4K, or [2] use a USB-C / HDMI adapter from a device into either the receiver or the television.

The Apple TV 4K with Ethernet stands out because it combines high performance, premium video/audio quality, stable wired networking, and deep integration with the Apple ecosystem. It’s not just a streamer — it’s a versatile media hub capable of powering a serious home theater or a smart-home setup. For users who value smooth performance, reliable streaming, and long-term support, this is one of the greatest streaming devices available.

We added a newer TV to our bedroom so I moved the 2nd generation AppleTV 4k in there and picked up a 3rd generation for our living room. We went with the ethernet model since our place is hardwired everywhere. Much smaller and the remote now uses USB-C versus lightning port which is nice. Setup is a breeze once you already have a pre-existing AppleTV setup. It will ask if you want to use the same settings/apps and it will even configure it to look exactly the same and stay in sync at all times. Newer model is definitely a bit faster in certain playback and a touch snappier on the interface.

I have tried all other streaming devices and a few different TV operating systems and while most are ok, the some TV is amazing nothing freezes on me like with Roku or slow like some Amazon Fire sticks, being able to locate my remote with my phone is something I’d been wanting for a long time and controlling Apple TV with iPhone is easier than any third party app with all the other streamers.

The BEST streaming device you will every buy! My LG Smart TV has a horrible UI that is slow, unresponsive, and painful to use. After buying this, it made streaming so easy and much easier to use. It has only a few buttons on the remote (which is great for me) and it is very easy to learn how to navigate. I highly reccomend, 10/10 device!

Nice upgrade from an older non-4k model. Everything that you expect from Apple interface and quality. This is a lot smoother than the 2nd gen, non 4-k that it replaced. Beautiful, vibrant colors, synced perfectly with my account, easy to use and loving the new remote. The older remote was harder to use as it has a track pad and it wasnt always accurate. This is a nice upgrade. Highly recommend!
