Great device!

Was looking at updating a Gen 1. Decided to go with the latest version. Very happy with the purchase. From a purely functional standpoint, it is hard to see the difference between Gen 1 and Gen 3. However, looking past the surface, the improvements are apparent. The remote is greatly improved. There is a dedicated power button, which sounds like a very minor detail, but it is quite convenient. The device definitely responds faster and better. The integration with the newest version of the iPhone is apparent. The picture is quite a bit better and the device does run faster. Worth the upgrade.

Time to upgrade to a newer version

We love the newest version - all of the problems we had been experiencing with the older unit have gone away with the newer model.

This thing picks up the city Wi-Fi with no problems. I can stream from my phone to it without Wi-Fi with no problems. All my streaming apps were loaded at login and super easy to set up. Wished I got it sooner

Definitely a must have for the children! Connecting is simple enough, and it is durable and well made. Quality and picture is great and you can add whatever apps you have on your phone onto the apple tv.

Must get if you love the Apple ecosystem

Don’t regret it. I hated loosing my remote for my tv but with this I can use my phone as a remote and never have that issue again! Plus being able to control my Philips hue lights with Siri, never getting fit of it!

Apple TV is worth the cost

I also got it on sale, saving a few dollars more. highly recommend!
