Supremely Polished

Apple TV blows them out of the water. If you want a smooth, feature rich experience, this is the one. Yes, it doesnt come built-in your tv, but I swear my roku tv looks better streaming on this little Apple box.

Better than built-in Smart TV, remote can be wonky

Much better than built in smart tv options. The only thing I don’t like so much is the remote. I understand going all minimal and modern, but I need a fast forward and rewind button that isn’t just 10 second intervals or 2x speed. And yeah, I know you can tell Siri to do it, but I like seeing the mini preview to let me know exactly where I’m at. Also the capacitive button is very sensitive and even when I’m not trying to use swipe features and just use buttons, I end up touching it and making things go crazy for a second. I’ll get over it but that’s my two cents.

Seamless CEC integration.

No more multiple remotes. I prefer the AppleTV interface more than the one that can with my tv.

The Apple TV operating system is easier to use than most smart TV menus. Compatibility with my other Apple devices is seamless.

Great All in one

Very cool and a great price

A good choice to replace an older version

I found it easy to install and configure. It handels my verious streaming apps and supports my Apple HomeKit automated devices. All-in-all, I am very pleased with the new device.

Great Unit - super picture

We also had an issue with the rotating Apple Photos app - too many repeats. This seems to have mostly disappeared :)

Very easy to install, even easier to use

The current version is much easier to install, especially if you already have other units in the infrastructure.

Great when it worked - update bricked it

Returned it. While it was working, I was overall happy with it. Video signal to TV was clear. I didn't like the LPCM audio feed as 5.1 shows vs 2.0 stereo shows were volume wise night and day. Never found a way to even out the volume difference. Availability of apps was great. Found every one that I needed. Remote was exceptionally nice in form and use case. Easy to set up once you understand how it handles SDR and HDR signals. There are YouTube videos that show what settings are correct.
