Why is Apple always behind?

Recently though I feel that they are behind technologically. 4k video has been on the market for years, every competitor was 4k capable. It's difficult to understand why they put out a 1080p version only a year ago, and this year upgraded to 4k.

Apple hit it out of the park with this 4K TV!!!

We cut the cable cord in our house along time ago and stream all of our TV entertainment. We were using ROKU previously, and would always have problems with TV remote issues, connectivity, etc... The Apple TV 4K syncs all of our apps and devices. LOVE IT!!! Only complaint is I don't why I didn't make this purchase sooner.

The only thing I would change is the remote. Even with reduced sensitivity it is too easily changed when lightly bumped.

Its very good but...

And because of the size its easy to lose. The touchpad is a good idea in theory but its terrible to navigate and rewind with.
