Good buy but not for the price.

I mean if that’s the case might as well use the phone. There’s no mute button. Took awhile for me to learn how to use the remote to turn on and off the tv and use the volume. The use of it is good. Like Apple TV + there is some great original movies and shows.

I love how all streaming services are together, and with Apple TV, all shows from different apps (Netflix, Amazon etc) all together. It even upscales all Apple movie purchases to 4K for free if available!

I did not buy the highest memory available because I am not a gamer. The new features are easy to use and very convenient. Apple continues to keep me coming back with their above standard products.

Are TV's just going to become obsolete and we just buy monitors instead? Apple TV is an indication that that is true. I use my Apple TV and, on occasion, my Blu-ray player... that's it! Also acts as my HomeKit hub.

Better than Cable

I enjoy that it pairs with my apple account and can listen to my music or movies I had purchased easily. Also, I can download other apps that I wish to use.

This is quick and responsive and has access to all of the apps I use (Netflix, Hulu, etc)

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for solid 4K streaming services and doesn’t have a built in Apple TV.

Other movie apps like Movies Anywhere tend to look better than with Vudu.

I am able to download all my dvds to a hard drive and play them in the computer. The MacBook connects to the Apple play device and streams it to my tv. Awesome product

Works great with iPhone and iPad

I also have a 2nd generation Chromecast connected to same TV. I did notice the apps that work on both, Netflix, Spotify, YouTube, the operation seems to be smoother iPhone to Apple TV versus iPhone to Chromecast. I just wish it would stream music at a high resolution that the Chromecast does, for example Quboz music app and it’s just a little pricey, hence the 4 stars.

Had older version of this...and didn't realize what I was missing! Awesome Siri remote/voice commands, top part acts as a trackpad too. Very quick proccessing compared to older versions.

I enjoy using this item with the siri enabled remote control. This would be a great item for seniors since you can add the apps need onto this device and they can use just one remote. I have enjoyed it.

I love have all my purchase from the Apple iTunes Store display instantly on the tv. Plus I love mirror photos, clips, etc in an instant. Highly recommend
