Our household has Apple phones and computers, so this made syncing devices so much easier. Navigating menus on Apple TV has been easier than on any smart TV I’ve ever owned, and I don’t have a problem downloading and installing some popular apps that my smart TV didn’t have available. I prefer the Apple TV interface to those of other TVs.

Although I have a smart tv, I still could not download all the available streaming program apps. The Apple Tv enables me to access a lot more programs, including those that are available in ultra 4k. The setup was simple and instructions easy to follow.

So much is being streamed now that it was time to cancel the cable bill and use the streaming devices. Great that it’s 4k compatible with my TVs. So good I had to get another.

Since our family uses IPhones along with IPads as part of our daily life it made sense to add the Apple TV so we can stream our photos & videos directly to our big screen TV

The Apple TV 4k works great. I dislike the touchpad on the remote though. I can never seem to make it work the way I think it should reliably. Replaced that with a universal remote with actual buttons and now it's fine. It also allows for streaming straight from my NAS with Infuse and hasn't lost all my passwords and made me reenter them, both of which were a problem with my Roku Ultra.

I’m not a tech savvy person so was expecting the setup to be more challenging. It wasn’t. It is so easy to access everything and the hardware is small and hides away easily.

Overall a solid performer is now even better thanks to 4K and HDR. Now that Amazon Prime is also available this is our go to streaming device with our 4K TV. If you aren’t solidly in the iTunes content camp, you can probably do as good for less, but if you own iTunes content not available through MoviesAnywhere this is your best choice.

would have liked to have this last year when I bought 2 of the non 4k for my house, Picture qaulity is top notch and i dont even have an Adioquest Chocolate cable for it yet

4K works faster. Picture is clearer. Easy installation.

WOW! I am so impressed with this thing. especially compared to my old, very limited (compared to this) 3rd gen Apple TV that I haven't even used in years. I recently upgraded to Apple One and decided that to take full advantage of the Fitness+ I wanted a new Apple TV. For that I am so impressed! I have apple watch series 5 and it displays your workout stats on screen! LOVE IT! I am so impressed with this thing! Apple Music is seamless on here too. I downloaded all the same apps that I run. on my 5 year old smart tv and they run way better on here. I ran it momentarily on wifi but decided to hard wire it just because I could. ran fine on wifi, but hard wired is always better. The remote is a huge improvement over old style. Siri is nice and touch pad is a super nice addition. playing games with remote is passable but I'd prefer my dualshock4 though I haven't tried to connect it yet. Setup was fairly simple and it automatically was able to adjust volume through my older Yamaha Receiver. I love and highly recommend this thing. But, I think I'll wait and see if a new one is released this September before I buy one for my upstairs tv.

Having used the previous two versions of the Apple TV, and having bought a 4K UHD television, I was very happy when Apple built a 4K Apple TV. Now I can get better performance from all streaming sources that I use. The associate was very helpful (Lou) and located a 64G device. When I hooked it up, the setup was a breeze and I have been enjoying this device frequently since my purchase. No regrets.

I like this because it's giving me chance to watch Russian channels free and also since I have weekend house and don't have cable there . this Apple TV is perfect to use .

I have had an Apple TV since the 3rd generation. Until the 4th generation. you could not download/install additional applications which meant you were locked in with what Apple offered. The main difference between the 4k (5th generation) and the 4th generation is the addition of 4K HDR support. It also has a faster processor, but I do not notice any difference here in day to day use. If you have a 4K HDR TV, it may be worth getting this model. If you have the 4th generation, but not a 4K tv, you won't notice any advantages over what you already have. Navigating between apps is easy, fast, and smooth, just as it was on the 4th generation. TVOS is improving with each update and allows you to keep all your Apple TVs in sync. Overall I am not a huge fan of the Siri remote. It works well, but still feels a little awkward to maneuver using the touchpad. It would probably be easier if it were a little larger. I found a protective case to put it in and that makes it feel much better. The one annoyance I have is that it asks you for your TV Service provider during setup, then asks if you want to share that with apps when you install them, but even if you select yes, you have to continue to sign into the app. This is likely the app developer and not apple's fault, but it would be nice to see a single sign on for TV apps instead of needing to activate each one. This is overall a great product and continues to get better. If you have a lot of Apple products, I'd choose this over the competition.

Works fast. Really like the upgrade to streaming 4K content and extra internal storage.

Of course apple could add a great deal more bells and whistles to all if its products,however, the new features added including The 4K revsolution are worth the upgrade

The new apple tv is awesome. I’ve been playing with it for few weeks and i’m very happy with it! My beatsX worked from day one and typing with my phone is just amazing.

Those of you with iPhones or iPads can download the Apple TV Remote and control all functions of Apple TV via your phone. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201664 You can also "cast" to your Apple TV, apps from your phone, as well as Air-Play from your phone to the device, effectively making the Apple TV device a "web browser". You can mirror your phone to the device. It also allows you to connect to Bluetooth devices. I use my Bluetooth earpiece to listen to TV without bothering anyone else in the room. Lots of GREAT features!

I wasn't thinking of upgrading but I got a little curious so I decided to purchase. The AppleTV 4K is stunning, well worth the upgrade especially if you have a UHD TV.

Love this product. I haven't even scratched the surface of everything it can do. Currently using it to stream various platforms. The 4K picture will have you memorized. Very easy to set up and use. I am not a gamer, thus I don't see myself using that service, but it will a great surprise for my nephews who are into that type of entertainment.

Simple, easy to use. Does exactly what I ask for. Streams all kinds of content. Plays games. I just wish I could kill all the smart features on the Samsung TV it is connected to. The AppleTV plays movies without interruption. Samsung TV's like to interrupt movies with pointless messages about Samsung phones within Bluetooth range.
