There were several minor improvements over the previous model, especially the hand held control. However, using the remote app on your iPhone enables easy typing of text which isn’t possible on the hand held it ships with.

I use it with both a tv and projector and it knows to switch to Dolby vision on the tv and back to regular hdr for the projector. I have a Fire TV box and a Roku ultra and now never use them.

Apple is the best streaming device I have used

We use it in 2 areas of our home. Bedroom for watching movies, news, documentaries. And in our home office to project things from our laptop when we do a presentation. I have owned 2 for at least 2 years and I just bought one for a church last week.
