This is the second of this model I've bought, was a gift to my daughter. Apple TV has gotten better 7 better over time. Content has vastly improved. I recommend this to anyone, specially to those who already own an Apple device such as an iPhone. Airplay2 is pretty cool!

The apple TV 4k is full of high quality applications and it is well built. I really like this device with the exception of the remote control. Using the slide pad is dumb and impractical. When you are trying to select an application or make any type of selection using the slide pad, you almost never land on the thing you want to select. Wish apple would change the remote and replace the slide pad. I would give 4 or 5 stars if they do this.

Apples tv is easy to use and the image quality is great. All my tv channels in one box. I no longer have a lease with my cable provider for a box since all the tv channels have dedicated apps where I can watch episodes of my favorite shows. I enjoy viewing the content on the apple tv

With my new home theater, I purchased a BluRay player which also acts as central access point for streaming services. Unfortunately, my MacBook Pro and iPad won't cast to the product I bought. I replaced it with the Apple TV so I can watch lectures I typically access through a browser.

Haven’t used too much but so far is good. Remote is not very user friendly but that seems to be the case with many of these type of remotes lately

We’d been holding on to our old Apple TV for quite awhile, but were having issues with slow loading and apps crashing all the time (particularly Hulu). Upgraded to the latest Apple TV model and it is WELL WORTH IT! Not only are we noticing much faster speeds and apps not crashing, the new user interface and remote are welcome updates as well. It’s much easier to navigate the different apps and programs, and going back and forth is a lot less clunky. The new remote (phone app) is also much more user-friendly, as it mimics an actual remote. I highly recommend!

Great product, the remote touch pad doesn’t work as well as I’d like it to sometimes but overall much better than the first generation I had prior.

I have been pushed into Apple products by my family. First it was the Ipad, then the Iphone and now Apple TV. I must admit, each one was a good decision. I love the expanse of programming available through the Apple TV. Only recommendation is if you get the 4K version be SURE to get the greater memory.

The remote is easy to use, I like how you are able to search all of the platforms in one place for a show or movie. The games on Apple TV are fun too. Had an issue with set up language not being in English so that took a good while to try and figure out how to reset the account to English.

great device, this is my second one for the house cut the cable completely. the updates to this version are much better than old AppleTVs

Office build out accessories. All the tv’s in the new office got these we all use Mac’s at work and this makes collaboration and sharing easy and awesome. Plus entertainment and sports when we are not working. Seems like news is mostly on these days :(

It’s pricey, yes. But the AppleTV 4K makes harnessing all those apps much more OCD-friendly. And if you have other AppleTVs, then you’ll be able to have the same home screen on every device. It mainstreams all those TV apps into something that’s organized, and visually appealing

I have bought several of these for friends and family. I got this one for my Dad who doesn’t have a tv with the Apple app. I don’t care for the remote material- it’s glass so if you drop it be careful. I bought a silicon cover.

Love the integration with other apple devices...but seemingly lacking the ability to stream from networked drives. We recently 'cut the cords' and moved to Hulu (great BTW) and also have Prime and Netflix. The Apple TV centralizes all of that perfectly. The only downside is, as far as I can tell, it doesn't connect to external networked drives to stream content. We have videos on a networked WD drive, which works fine with our WD TV boxes but I can't seem to find a way for the Apple TV to connect. Other than that, love it.

Unless you don’t have a smart tv, or fire stick (who doesn’t) or if you’re just all about apple... then definitely it would be a great buy. However... I bought it and it wasn’t all that for me. Maybe in the future.

Apple TV allows you to view iTunes rentals & movie purchases on a big smart tv screen. It also allows for using other streaming services. Come with a year’s free Apple TV shows. The remote is slick & beautiful and the box is small & lightweight

Meets expectations for streaming and recording but routinely goes offline needing reset. Simple reset feature but sometimes aggravating.

I'm so happy with this! I love the fact that I can mirror my ipad or iPhone videos to it! Watching my 4k movies. It's really cool! I still need to get used to the voice commands, the remote mouse and buttons are user friendly, hence the reason I don't use the voice commands much.

I have a generation 2 and waited to purchase this Apple TV. Now that I see how beautiful and amazing it is I’m sorry I didn’t buy it sooner! I love the apps and how beautiful and inviting the screens and menus are. It came with 30 days free of Sling TV which was wonderful, I binged the 30 days!!

I upgraded from an old Apple TV 2 and it's not hard to see the difference. The 4k experience, the apps that constantly updated, the smoothness of the software and the TV interface make this purchase a no-brainer...
