As a typical apple product, this is overpriced for what you get. Only purchase this if your TV is capable of Dolby Vision HDR. If you TV does not support that format, save $150 and by a Roku. Roku has more apps and the remote is much better.

I really like the 4k addition to the Apple TV family. Not so thrilled about the removal of the optical audio connection but I understand the logic. Most TVs have an optical audio connection for receivers.

Love this device. It allows me to have all of my TV apps in one place rather than going back to the home page on my smart TV. Highly recommend.

The Apple TV 4K is a great addition to the Apple ecosystem! Very responsive and awesome to watch movies purchased on iTunes as well as streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc. very happy with this purchase

Apple makes the best quality products and it’s no difference when it comes to the Apple TV. If you’re already in the apple ecosystem I’d highly recommend.

My first Apple TV set up was easy and quick it was easy to download apps

May have some compatibility issues with Vizio TV and sound bar. Picking up Dolby vision pass through with sound bar and HDR10 just sometimes screen blacks out when turning on I have to turn the TV off and on then the Dolby vision kicks in. Buy for the best picture out there this thing plays hdr beautifuly even off Amazon prime but especially off my Plex setup.

Nice 4K viewing on 4K movies, and love the streaming ability and apps.

This is a great version and well worth the price. One note of caution, on my unit it came in the voice activated mode, in this mode I could not get the swipe up or down motion to work, otherwise flawless.

New sound bar supported Dolby Atmos. Needed this upgrade to receive it. Definitely worth the upgrade. One caveat. A new Apple TV is likely out in spring of 21.

Bought this for a family member and they seem to love it. I'm not sure what it gives you over a cheaper streaming stick, but no complaints. It's Apple, so it's not cheap.

I wasn’t sure exactly what I was getting into for sure when I bought the Apple TV unit. I really haven’t had time to learn it’s full capabilities but so far I’m impressed with what I see.

This is much better, faster and easier to navigate than any of the other streamer options available. Even if you are not in the Apple ecosystem, this is the best choice of streamers.

I bought this and upgraded my old apple tv 2. this is much better in terms of apps and streaming services and most importantly works for youtubetv which previous versions didn't work with.
