Had an older generation Apple TV, upgraded when I upgraded the tv. Very simple to setup as a new device when I already had one. Definite operational Improvements from on older non 4K version

Got this unit to replace the last model. This one has true 4K up streming and works a little better than the last one . It also has more storage . And the remote has a menu that is more user friendly.

Setup did not take long and is not complicated. Operates better than our Amazon firestick. Wish the price was a little lower; however, one year of free of Apple TV helps justify the cost.

Apple's history of easy to use devices come to a peak with Apple TV 4K. With the ability to not only stream but to run applications, this is the right choice for anyone who owns other apple devices.

I was hesitant in purchasing an Apple TV but I do not regret it now. I have tried other products such as the ChromeCast, Roku boxes and even those sticks but the Apple TV is so far the best. I am not all that "Apple Fan" but this product works well, easy quick connections, it links to your apple cloud account and it seems to be a seamless process. A few times I have had the need to restart it but it because the DirecTV Now app is in its beta stages when it comes to their DVR so sometimes it males my Apple TV box loopy. For the most, it sis great. Price is what its is expected from Apple products but I think the quality of the image on the screen, the processor speed and the sound quality is worth the money... even for people as cheap as I am.

This was an upgrade from an earlyer model to 4K compatble version.

After months of reviewing streaming services and devices, Apple TV seems to be the best for our household. Clean interface and simple for the kids. I have 2 other androids connected, however Apple TV is by all the Favorite.

If u like other Apple TV products you'll like this. Good to get 4k

Better than fourth GEN. Performs noticeably better than my old Apple TV fourth generation. I’ve noticed that I have less trouble with the apps on the Apple TV 4K And of course a better picture.

Love the 4k content. It does not support Dobly Atmos as of yet but apple promises that it will in the future. The best part is that it upgrades your regular HD movies to 4K (if there's a 4K version) for free. Marketing genius. Now if I want a 4k movie I can buy the blu-ray version and redeem my digital copy for the 4k upgrade (I like having a hard copy).

I've had every iteration of the Apple TV except gen 1. It is the perfect streaming device. I love that I can use it for many sports broadcasts, particularly with my NHL.tv subscription. Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go are all easy to use with Apple's interface. I still probably don't use the "Watch TV" feature the way it's designed, but I suppose I will over time. The 4K HDR is stunning. It took a little to get it configured correctly so that I could use HDR. Between my AVR and TV, there were some settings I had to enable to make it possible. I also upgraded my HDMI cables, but I suspect the old cables would've been fine. I had already installed them by the time I figured out that I needed to change a particular setting in the TV. I didn't feel like changing them back.

Purchased the 64GB version so my kids can download and use Arcade games. Seems to work very well. Apple TV is easy to use, and integrates well with our other Apple products

Upgraded from an Apple TV a few years old. The picture is excellent... the remote - well it's difficult to maneuver with. The older style was much easier to move around with. Totally different layout as well. One nice feature is you can turn this one off, where the original just timed out and turned off by itself. I just really like the picture quality thru the Apple TVs - the images are outstanding.

Nothing quite like an Apple TV and nothing quite like 4K! If you have a 4K TV, this is a must have! Upgrade your Netflix plan (+$4 month) to get Ultra HD 4K and you are all set! Even non 4K content looks way better than before.

Apple products are amazing. However, I did have some trouble getting the home screen to display 4K sharp on my LG OLED TV. I did get it worked out, and now the picture is amazing!

I upgraded from an Apple TV 2nd gen. And it's worth every penny.

Easy to install and use. Make sure you connect to your wi-fi and select auto update. Streaming is seamless (obviously dependent upon your wi-fi network). I would highly recommend this product.

Great performance! Remember to charge up the remote once you start using. Even though my Samsung TV has smart TV capabilities, the Apple TV is so much easier to use!

I waited a long time to buy Apple TV. I have a smart TV and have access to Netflix, Amazon Prime and others. I really wanted to be able to interface with the App Store more and also wanted to use the screen mirroring from my iPad. I am really pleased with Apple TV. Set up was a breeze - it took 5 minutes from start to finish. I was able to buy a mount for it which attaches to the back of my TV so I never even see the box yet have no issues with the remote. The ability to add apps onto iPad <-> Apple TV is terrific. The screen mirroring function is everything I hoped it would be. Having a 4K UHD TV and Gig fiber makes the 4K option with Apple TV worth the higher price than other stream options. I don’t have a single regret with this purchase.
