The more I play with APPLE TV, the better I like. The ROKU is easier to use, but the Apple control stick is good (but can be maddening at times). I don't have a 4k tv yet, so I got this for future proofing. Did the recent update with no trouble. Integrating photos, and iTunes is fun. Yeah, I like this.

Our previous Apple TV was not working well and was causing serious buffering every time we tried to use it. The new one solved that problem completely. Great picture and easy to install/use.

These are the best things in the world. So versatile and easy to use. They just need to revamp the remotes, they are awful, but you can use your iphonep

Just cut the cord and the apple tv has been the perfect replacement. Great picture quality and ease of use! The touchpad on the remote is a bit touchy but you get used to it after a while.

I have seen some other reviews about 4K HDR APPLE TV not displaying the highest resolutions on their TV. The display is not just 1080p, it’s 4K HDR at its highest output. Not all TVs can reach these resolutions. Make sure your using the latest version HDMI cable. After everything is properly connected the Apple TV has a automatic resolution setting that will find the highest resolution your TV can display. My TV cost me almost 4 grand when I purchased it, and it still will only display at the second highest display setting. Picture is awesome, I couldn’t be more pleased. The real reason I was on Best Buy is to buy a second Apple TV. Lives up to what you would expect from Apple.

No more lag time or streaming problems. I love the ability to control using my cell phone. The remote is a little sensitive, still becoming used to it.

Works great with our 4K TV. Love that you can take it with you and use our home cable TV account to watch on another TV. Plenty of GB for storage of apps.

Works amazing, easy to set up and allows us to stream from various services like Apple, Hulu, cbs, Netflix, Disney +, etc and so much better than fish of cable.

Great useful things to do. A lot of storage to download my games and watch a lot of shows on this. Very easy to use and connect no difficulties in setting up and great connections.

I’ve owned every model of Apple TV and this is by far leaps and bounds better than any other! The 4K HDR support is fantastic but the audio quality lacks anything dynamic, like Dolby Atmos support. Overall, I’m certain this is something they will fix via a tvOS update and doesn’t change my thoughts on the product.

I have it hooked up to an LG HD 4K TV. Its very fast and my picture is great. The remote is slippery and sensitive. I bought a case for it which make it much easier to hold. The mail benefit for me over ROKU is it's ability to easily mirror my iphone to the TV. If you have ROKU and don't need to mirror your phone this may be overkill. But for me it's very nice.

I’ve been wanting one of these for a long time and when the 4K version came out, I jumped on it. I am just about ready to cut the cord with the cable companies and this is key to doing it. Along with the iCloud, all of my photos and movies are shared between all of my Apple devices making it very very convenient.

I never had one of this but decided to try it. It amazing that I can use my phone to using it. So fast compared with Roku. Sound quality is better than Roku but the image is too bright compared with Roku, if you are looking for great contrast and dark tones Go with Roku. Interphase is so easy to manage, just one password and start downloading apps.

I bought this newly-released AppleTV device, and have to say that I love how it works to make my iTunes library easily accessible. I love the games that I can download for the kids to play, and that I can stream my music collection with ease, as well as linking my iPad or iPhone to stream video. I have the remote control that was included and the Nimbus game controller and both work seamlessly with the AppleTV. My only wish is that Apple would have developed a way to temporarily download and store at least a limited number of movies or TV episodes for smooth viewing instead of streaming, which can get choppy if too many devices are using the network.
