Upgraded from my HD Apple TV to 4k. Picture is amazing and very easy to use. Voice commands are a plus and plenty of content.

I had an older Apple TV, but when I upgraded to a 4K TV, I purchased this Apple TV 4K. It was extremely easy to set up and has a great picture. Highly recommend!

Moving from a Roku. The interface is awesome. The remote is nice, but just a bit strange. Would rate 4.5 stars. Other than that, though, it's impressive!

I bought this for my daughter and she said the hook up was so easy I could do it. The quality and selection is great.

After cutting cable, I wanted a product that would consolidate the apps that I now use to watch television. Being that I already have a family full of iPhones, it only made sense to go the Apple TV route. I like how easy the interface is to use (my 5-year-old is able to navigate it with total ease). There are plenty of apps available and all of the important ones already exist (ESPN, Plex, Netflix, YoutubeTV, etc.). It's also nice that Siri is built-in, so I can easily control my HomeKit-enabled devices. Now I own two of these (one on each floor of my house).

Overall there isn't much to say. It does what it says it does. With Wifi and hardline support I've yet to have connection issues. And with switching off of cable to Youtube TV this is far superior to the cablebox I had prior to this. (I used the Apple TV for a month before canceling my suscription) The touch pad at the top of the remote takes a little getting used to, but after a few minutes of fiddling with it I was quite content with it's sensitivity and options. And if you dispise typing with it, you can simply speak the command.

Apple TV is amazing. very easy to use and setup. Wish the remote was a little bigger but other than that no problems.

This is my third Apple TV. I bought the original which was only 720p, upgraded to the Gen 3 which introduced 1080p just bought this one which is 4K. This its a great device for watching NetFlicks, Playing console games with the SteelSeries Nimbus Wireless Gaming Controller which I also own, or streaming media from your iPhone, iPad or Mac. The Apple TV has really become the heart of my media center. I have it connected to my 5.1 surround system and when I turn on the Apple TV it turns on my surround sound and my TV automatically and switches the proper inputs and outputs on both. I don't even use the other remotes anymore because the volume of my surround sounds system is controlled by the volume on the Apple TV controller. The best thing is that the controller is not directional. It connects via Bluetooth so you don't need to point it toward the Apple TV. It works no matter how you hold it. Don't overlook the ability to stream directly from your iPhone via AirPlay. We can be out at an event taking pictures and then we come home, I open my iPhone, choose my photos, select Slideshow, pick a song, and send to AirPlay and everyone can sit on the couch and watch an instant Photo Montage on our Apple TV with just a few clicks. This is an awesome way of sharing photos with family and friends. We have several in our house now and we really enjoy them.

It costs more than the competitors but the quality of the picture and ease of use sets it apart from the competition making this the best in market.

Needed a way to watch digital content that was iTunes only (i.e. I could not redeem the digital content in Vudu). This device allows me to view all of my digital content (e.g. Netflix, Vudu, iTunes, HBO, etc.) from a single device. All of the 4k content does display in 4k including 4k movies and 4k on Netflix. Rather than use the small remote that it comes with (which does work very well), I use an iPad for a remote. The iPad app provides all the functionality of the original remote and allows the user to type input. I would definitely recommend.

Once you get an account set up, and get used to the lack of buttons on the remote, it works great. Bet you can tell I'm not an apple guy. Once I figured the remote and how to make my way around the menu, very easy to use and watch. Wish I had purchased one earlier.

I bought my Apple Tv before I had a smart tv and I thought that purchase would put my Apple Tv on the back burner, but it did not. The Apple Tv has more apps and easily airplays with my iphone or screen mirrors with my Macbook. Though I can airplay on my tv, I still prefer it on my apple tv, its smoother playback for me. The only issue I had was the remote died (I purchased open box) but it was replaced through Apple and there is an app I was Apple to use in the meantime.

Apple TV is one of the hands down best purchases I’ve made in a while.

Very easy to set up and get apps on it. The quality is excellent and value is too. I would recommend this to anyone.

What more is to say. Better pics. Better movies. It is a small box with big ideas. Easy to match up your phone apps to the device.

This is the fifth Apple TV I have purchased and the new models just keep getting better. Easy setup and works great with YouTube TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video/Music, and all the other movie apps. Use your iPhone to share pictures and videos with family friends very easily and connect your computer for sharing music, old digital videos, and pictures on Apple TV. The video quality it excellent. I would recommend Charter or other cable provider in area for internet service to get best picture quality/bandwidth to stream videos.
