I have 4K Amazon Fire TV Stick, Netflix and now Apple TV 4K - all connected with blazing fast internet service to a 4K TV with a 5.1 surround sound system. Netflix is OK (I don’t pay for the premium 4K service, so maybe it could be better), Fire Stick is very good and Apple TV is mind-blowingly fabulous. It has a better picture, fuller surround sound and more apps. Of course, it costs more and takes up more space, but it’s worth it.

Only reason I had to buy this was to play my music videos from iTunes on my tv. Kind of a rip off apple makes you buy this when you already paid them for the videos, especially when my tv already came with AppleTV on it, but whatever. Dont really see the point to AppleTV either as you seem to have to pay to watch most things, so you might as well just pay for cable or netflix. But it seems good quality and works nicely

Great product. Easy set up. Touch pad remote takes a little time getting used to.

Pricey. Works well with other Apple products. No issues. Good picture quality. Remote is very sensitive. Cursor is difficult to control on screen when trying to select letters/ characters for passwords / search bar.

I lost my original Ten 4 Apple TV Remote and purchased this as a replacement. The updated touch to the buttons is a nice touch. Makes using the remote in the dark easier. I would recommend the purchase.

Love it! Great for streaming movies through apps, good for storing pictures.

Definitely a huge improvement over previous models. Make sure to buy the large storage.

I love this streaming device. It is easy to navigate and allows me access to not only apple tv but all my favorite streaming services. My only issue is with the remote. It can be difficult to use. Otherwise a great product.

Remote is too nimble, too flat and difficult to handle. The unit heats up a lot so good ventilation should be provided if located in cabinet. Otherwise gives a crisp performance as what one should expect from Apple products

I bought the 4K version to pair with a recently purchased Samsung 4K TV to allow streaming from Apple devices, and this product does that very well. The remote, while it is rather sensitive, is greatly improved over the first version and a welcome surprise. Watching iTunes movies was a revelation seeing them in 4K for the first time. Well worth the investment if you watch iTunes movies on a 4K TV and/or stream an iPhone or iPad to your TV.

I been a cord cutter but decided that I wanted to watch sports because I was concerned about the reliability of my digital converter box. I added direct tv Now as well. Two things that I love are remote and that I can use my iPhone as another remote. The controls work well even though they take some getting used to. It is not as intuitive as every Apple product I've owned, but a very solid job. I also appreciate the storage and small footprint.

Wasn't sure I needed to purchase this device since I own a smart TV but there is a difference between devices whose sole purpose is to stream vs added software. The picture is phenomenal with the Apple TV. I already have Apple TV+ so using this device makes that experience all the better. I would eventually like to cut the cord and this device will certainly help in that effort.

The Apple TV 4K is an excellent streaming device, especially for those already in the Apple ecosystem. I've had versions of this product for 6 years, and they have gotten better and better over time. The picture quality is top-notch, as are the screen savers it supports. The only drawback is that streaming a lot of 4K content may cause you to exceed your ISP's data cap; you can cap resolution at 1080p to avoid that.

It has a seamless feel and the 4k is great just make sure you have a 4k tv that can produce real 4k pictures.

My second generation Apple TV wouldn't allow me to download new apps for streaming. Now I have every option. It's also voice activated. The invisible touch screen on the top third of the hand held control is very sensitive and took some getting used to for selection of programs. Wish more directions came with the packaging. The hand held device has its own battery with a cord for charging.

Streams 4k iTunes content, as well as all other major streaming companies. New apps on a regular basis.

The 4K picture os fantastic. This is my 3rd Apple TV and we love it - easy to use, great picture and sound.
