I was going back and forth on getting an Apple TV and I’m very glad I decided to purchase it. Although I didn’t know if I needed it we had just updated our TVs to smart TVs that similar apps but I like that I can listen to all my music and watch all the purchases I have on my Apple account.

Pay the extra money, all my shows look fantastic. Quality of movies you can tell the big difference, my Hulu and Netflix etc. don’t pause or delay. For someone that has few hours a day to watch something I love it. Even for those that love watching tv , you will love it too.

Since I have an iPad, this was a no brainer to get. Love being able to mirror my iPad to my TV. Of course it has all the other apps I want. Note: be sure to get a good HDMI cable. There are differences in quality. If you get this in 4K, it can detect the quality of your cable and provide better video.

I upgraded from the first version to this later model. I love that you can now download apps. I do hate the touch pad on the remote and miss the old remote dearly. But it’s just something I have to get used to. It’s very sensitive and honestly kinda useless, but it does make for faster scrolling. So take the good with the bad.

If you have an iphone or an ipad, this is totally worth it. I mostly use Apple Tv to mirror my iphone or ipad. If the phone rings then the mirror will be broken so that's why it may be good to mirror the ipad. But there's no cables involved with the mirror. If you cut the chord, this one time purchase is likely worth it.

Easy to navigate through. 4K makes it picture perfect

We love our new Apple TV 4K. We had the first generation Apple TV and it started to give out. We bought this one as a replacement and it was easy to use. Having had the 1st gen, there were a few new things we had to learn but it was simple. I recommend you find videos for "tips and tricks" on using this device and it makes things even easier.

Initially I thought whats different in apple TV than other market products. But when i got this product its really amazing. Apple is best.

so far so good - smooth processing power and the 4k picture looks great. glad to start renting 4k movies instead of buying for $20-30 a pop

The remote is amazing. Setup would have been zero problem except that the setup hung up when I got as far as choosing to have it check for HDR (which I had). The screen went black and I couldn’t get it to do anything. Returned the unit for a replacement (Geek Squad had no suggestions). 2nd unit did the same thing so I started to just push buttons and screen suddenly came back. Setup after that was a breeze. Unit is intuitive and has a clean interface. I do love the fact that I can play my iCloud photos, music, and videos on screen with no problem. The rest of the choices are almost like Roku. $200 is a lot for this unit.

Got this to replace an older model and it works better. The remote is an improvement over the previous one as it is easier to read. We are currently streaming Disney Plus and the picture is very good. The only downside is that you need to get a second one for any additional tv's

I’m so amazed of the new Apple TV 4K a lot faster than my my 3gen Apple TV so far I’m enjoying my device I haven’t try the games yet though

My new Apple TV 4K has been a great purchase. Besides allowing me to watch shows in 4K from Apple, I can now see my pictures and videos taken on my iPhone and iPad directly on my large screen TV and in HD. I can also stream shows from my iPad and iPhone directly to my TV. So glad I purchased this item.

I have 2 AppleTVs and love both. My only complaint is with the controller. I wish there was a controller that had actual buttons rather than a scroll pad. There is an attachment I bought, but it's bulky and not as easy to use.

We had a Chrome prior and found it not very useful. However, the Apple TV suits us for all our TV watching. (We have no use for the Chrome now). Easy to set up Send anything from your phone or pad to the TV. Easy to learn /use. The remote battery hasn’t been charged since we first installed months ago. Worth the money.

So this review is a little bit biased because AppleTV is the only streaming device I have bought. It seems to work better than the apps on my TV. If you enjoy Apple products this won’t let you down. It’s easy to use to stream your phone. Apps for it seem to work well. It is more expensive than most streaming devices. Just wish I could compare it to them. One story I have about it is My 3 yr old dropped a weight on the remote and crushed it. The class spiderwebbed like crazy. I was able to put translucent duct tape on the remote and it still works! So I am impressed with the durability.

I avoided this as I didn’t want to have to program another thing to be honest. I keep hearing how cool this was and I have an Apple phone, iPad, computer and watch. I figured I would give it a try and it is now one of my favorite things. VERY EASY to setup and I use it daily.
