I needed an additional one for my bedroom as the previous gen one died. I was very happy to purchase the 4k one so that I have more options on the various apps to watch. The clarity and speed on the 4k is so much better than the previous gen one.

Very good system. I love the 4k. The only downside to this is the remote. Its small slippery and easily lost.

I've been an Apple TV user for years now, since we cut cable way back in 2007. We recently bought a 4K TV and upgraded to this 4K Apple TV to get the most benefit from our setup. Works very well and the picture/sound is unbelievable compared to our old setup that was just an HDTV.

The user ease of use is good. The interface is clean and organized. I've had to reboot the unit several times due to apps freezing or not starting.

I purchased my Apple TV 4k when ABC was off with UVerse. It was simple to setup and I love it as much as my older models. I haven't tried using it with my movies yet, but I am sure it will be more efficient that the older models and they worked very well.

Better than using smart tv to access streaming options. It has a lot more options and it gets to them faster. The Remote scroll pad is very sensitive so I would pass by the movie or streaming option a few time until I got use to it. But that is not a show stopper I just had to get use to it. But I really enjoy it.

At first I was hesitant to buy it since my tv has Roku integrated, however it makes streaming much easier, switching between apps faster on the Apple TV than on the roku. Also helps that I’m using two Apple homepods as my sound system with the Apple TV.

I used to have the Roku first generation, worked perfect but obviously its seen its days and decided to go with this because everything else I have is Apple. Works flawlessly, fast and easy to use. I like Siri on the remote, just say what app you want to use and bingo your in. Remote also turns on off tv and volume.

The Apple TV is a great portal for your iCloud movie collection, as well as giving you access to tons of apps if you don't currently have a smart tv. The only real drawback is the touchpad on the remote is way too sensitive for its own good. Beyond that, this is great.

I liked the Roku alright. I hated the Amazon stick. I love the Apple TV. It was easy to plug in and start up. Logged in to everything easily. When the system gets weird, the reload button on the screen is usually there or go to settings. I have had way less problems, glitches, or hang ups with Apple TV.

Definitely worth it if you’re into streaming media in atmos. This offers the most services to stream in atmos and 4k. iTunes is in my opinion the best media app out there! The remote reminds me of an old iPod. Still trying to get used to the trackpad on it.

I have tried them all...Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Chromecast...and this is the best. Chromecast is cheap, but I didn’t like constantly having to use a smartphone or tablet as a remote control. Amazon Fire TV—the user interface is so bad, just awful. And I’ve been an Amazon Prime member for years and years! Roku is okay, and just that—okay, mediocre. We have a really good, fast internet connection but the Roku buffers a little too often, and their remotes stop working all the time (plus the remote’s batteries are constantly draining). I have none of these problems whatsoever, though, with the Apple TV. No buffering, no problems with apps, great user interface, and a really good remote control that also controls the TV volume and on/off. The rechargeable battery in the remote control hardly ever needs charging. The tactile differences in the remote’s buttons make it easy to use in the dark. It just works, and works well. It may be on the pricey side, but it is well worth it.

I absolutely love our Apple TV! We use it daily and it makes everything so much more efficient. It's super easy to use and makes renting/buying movies super easy as well. It's a great purchase if it's something you're on the fence about. It's perfect! Definitely a great gift as well.

First Apple TV I bought. Love these but hate their remotes. Nice to access what I have and I can hook up with a controller. Their remotes really need a user update. The navigation area is hard to deal with but their charging vs batteries is nice.

great 4k picture quality but i do not care for the apple remote. It is not intuitive. For the price I'll stick with a Roku

I’ve had an Apple TV since its first incarnation, and have never regretted the choice. You won’t either. If you’re not a lunatic about waiting for data like I am, you will probably never need or use the 64GB of flash storage on this model, but, then, you might. Highly recommended.

Leaps and bound above roku. Just suck it up and pay the difference. They can't see through a single room, but no matter how far your router is, Apple will be lightning fast. We killed cable and apple tv is now in every room. Stellar!

Love the apple tv. Nice to see more things coming to 4K. A must have for any fan. If you want Dolby vision you must have a certain belkin 8k hdmi cable for it to display Dolby vision and need to go directly to the tv.
