Works as needed but not a true substitute for having a 3.5 jack on a device the sound just converts enough to have a noticeable difference between line-in audio and bluetooth also if used on a cell phone you use up your charging capability

It’s obnoxious that Apple and many manufacturers want to get rid of a great standard that has served us well for several decades for no benefit to consumers. As a concept, I would give this and other related products zero stars. But because they do serve a purpose I am needing to review it on that basis. Yeah, it works and it’s not prohibitively expensive. It doesn’t provide multiple ports or allow you to charge the product at the same time you are listening to audio through the adapter. So, there is that.
