I am not a fan of the elimination of headphone jacks on everything apple. Sorry I just do not like switching every time this happens with an Apple product. This adapter helps me to "move on".

While this is cheap, it's low quality and feels like it will fall apart soon. The main problem though is that the output is quiet. I got it so I could connect my phone to my car's aux jack. But even when my car's volume is cranked up, you can barely hear the audio. Apparently this has to do with new regulations to help people's hearing, but it's quiet to a ridiculous level, I can't hear my audio on the highway. It's fine for earbuds but not for other aux devices...

This simple connector allowed me to use my large headphones to connect to my phone. Therefore, I did not have to buy wireless ear plugs. I do not like to stuff things in my ears, so this solved the problem.

This item is now generally required for wired earbuds and Best Buy had it readily available. Thankfully Best Buy had it readily available!

If you have a new laptop, you probably have all USB-C connectors. and no audio ports. This and the separate USB-C to USB3 adapter will give you that flexibility. Get them now before you REALLY need them in an emergency!
