    The product solves the problem of using older headphones with newer smartphones. The build quality is low, the unit is quite frail. You cannot attach these in front of heavier headphone cables like the sennheiser over ears.

    I'm using this USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter with my 2018 iPad Pro. No issues with it - works fine. I wish Apple would include one in the box, or even left the the jack on the iPad Pro, but this does work with no problems.

    If you need to connect wired EarPods to your USB-C iPad, you will need Apple - EarPods with 3.5mm Plug and this Apple - USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter. Apple does not make a USB-C EarPods.
