    You need it unfortunately, apples locking stuff down but it works very well and doesn’t effect the quality of headphones

    Works as advertised. I just wish BB had carried a Samsung version. Apple makes the worst cords quality wise and after a month of use I suspect it will shrivel up like dried fruit.
