Perfect way to add music from your usb c iPhone to any older 3.5mm input. I use this to connect to an older generation “boom box” in the garage to add music while I bang and crank on things every Saturday and Sunday. A must for audio devices that do not have Bluetooth connectivity.

I needed an attachment for my phone and headphones for my Samsung and this works just fine.

Bought the Apple USB-C to headphone jack, MU7E2AM/A A2049. My device is an Essential PH-1 mobile phone running Android 9 P with July 2019 update installed. Music app is FiiO for Android. The Essential came with a USB-C to wired earphone jack adapter, but I wanted a spare at a cheaper price than OEM replacement. To get the Apple adapter to work, had to disable USB output in FiiO. Turning off the FiiO software DAC forces processing to the DAC in the Apple dongle. Otherwise, music played through the embedded phone speaker, ignoring the Apple adapter altogether. In the process of trying out all my wired ear sets, I found that some Apple earbud remote features worked (volume +/- , Pause/Play). For me, the FREE FiiO app delivers superb audio quality, can decode many formats (have not tried MQA yet though). The very best sound however was through the USB-C earphones included with the Essential phone ($150 purchased separately). The selection of USB-C head gear continues to improve, so once direct USB-C items are widely available, like at BestBuy, then we can send those adapters to the tech museum.

Works as intended. Very handy for using old headphones. I enjoy old headphones sound better than wireless so this beats my expectations.

It does its job. I still have a set of wired headphones that I really like, and this adapter works flawlessly.

You need to have one of these in order to cennect a standard 3.5 mm speaker wire (think headphone wire) to your iphone

Authentic apple cable is the best way to go. Durable and great price.

I mean, you basically need to get one of these if you get a iPhone or any kind of Apple device because there’s sometimes you need those 3.5 mm have fun racks and they’re really worth it

Works well cheaper than other options to play music on your car if you dont have an aux jack on your phone. Seems to throttle the volume a little.

It does what is supposed to do. Attach wired earbuds to the phone.

With this itwm i am able to keep my custom headphones that have a good sound. I don’t need to charge them and it is easy to use.

Simple adapter but worked great and seemed like hold up over time. I’ve been through too many cheap ones.

I am glad I found this. I like my old headphones, which do not use Bluetooth. The price is right. It is the perfect item.
