    This jack has performed very well to-date. The down side to this jack is that it has to be used at all. The iPadAir, and all other upgrades from the original iPad, should have a built-in headphone jack (like the original). This is just one more piece of the total package that is subject to loss or breakage which renders the iPad useless in private listening or conversations.

    I got a new Samsung phone that I did not notice came without a headphone jack. I got this because of positive reviews and so far it has been working very well. Obviously it is a hassle to have to use an adapter but at least it does not seem to impact call quality.

    This item works great! The only reason why it is not a 5 star rating is that it is not built with a stronger/thicker cable. Wish it was more robust in its construction.
