The cord is really thin though so it makes me worry that it'll snap when I pull on it and it gets caught on something in my car. Bought it from Best Buy for just $9. Not bad.

Apple again makes something simple an added cost.

The three inch adapter works fine to connect earpiece but is small and easy to lose. For the price of the IPad you would think a standard audio jack could have been standard feature.
